What you had mentioned involves : drawing up his ba zi chart and analysing it for things like: is his five elements balanced or if you just want to know what is his favourable colours, you can always use the free calculator at this site to find this out.

22th July 1978 born during the Monkey (Shen hour: 3pm to 5pm)
His is a weak yin Wood Horse. Is there any remedies or improvements he can do to enhance his missing elements or improve his overall feng shui?
