Please help...no real experience in Feng Shui

Recommended Posts

Something very troubling happenned last night with a stranger.
First, I have a wife a 2 children (8,2 years old). My mother practices Feng Shui in her life and home so Feng Shui is not unknown to me.
She has explained to my wife and me that we need to sell and leave our home because it is bad. I am in the process of selling and last night my mother and I met a stranger who said she was psychic (never been a believer in psychics) and proceeded to tell me some things.
One of the most troubling things she mentioned was that there was something evil around my wife. Something when she was young should have killed her and yet she surviived. This "thing" around her was evil.
She also said that there are spirits in my home that do not want us to leave. We cannot sell the house unless we do certain things once a week.
My mother immediately agreed with the person and so did I after she said somethings that seemed very personally to me and my life.
The things we have to do weekly is at 7:00PM each week (any day) we must put out 3 cookies on a plate, 3 small cups of white wine, salt and rice in a small bowl, light 2 candles and 3 incense sticks. Once the incense has finished buring, throw the cookies, wine, rice and salt outside the front door and ask the spirits for help selling the home.
Can you please give advice because this psychic just came up to us and offerred to help, no money or gifts and she said somethings that are very real or at least felt genuine.
Thanks
Basically, she explained

Dear Magic One,
Frankly, in my opinion, try to be extra cautious of the psyhic.
In my opinion, try to becareful of people who says that there is/was evil around your wife.
If you are Catholics or Christians, you can easily seek help (as a comfort) or talk to priests. Usually, I do not think that there is such a situation.
Most likely, the psychic (in my opinion) is trying to win your family's confidence. And later, perhaps, take advantage of the situation. (Perhaps not now).
Therefore, do thread this with caution. Even if there are two or more parties who may seem not to be remotely together.
I believe, there are lots of con-men around and just becareful of what they want.
Overall, the ritual you mentioned seems alittle bizarre especially the throwing away of "cookies". In particular, it is strange because, how does the psyhic know for example, cookies? Why not other food items.
Therefore, try to be careful of being conned.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Dear Magic One,
I am not sure if this site can help but they have articles relating to "psychic scams".
http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/Crimes/InPerson/MajorPerson/psychic_scams.htm
Under the above url, a common scam is related to problems related to `evil' .
For information about family, sometimes, it is easy for others to obtain the information. Or, sometimes, one or more family members could have `given the information' or it happens that by coincidence, some of the questions `hit'.
I personally feel -- stay cautious.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
