Illustration of a Five element water fountain enhancer (Old school 1980's Five elements correct but outdated design)

1. Attached please find a sketch of a Qi enhancer incorporating the Five elements concept. In a 5 elements flow.
2. Often, a water feature is not so complex as shown in the illustration.
But many water features that is suppose to be meant for Feng Shui may have the three ingredients of a three element flow e.g.
Earth -> Metal -> Water
Here, earth is represented by the actual items made of rock, limestone or marble.
Metal element is represented by a round ball. Either with water flowing (to lubricate it) or flowing out of this round ball.
Water element. This is real water flowing out of the pump in such a fountain.
It is not too difficult to add the other two elements:
Lights (Fire element) can be added. E.g. water proof lighting display.
Plants can be added to the waterfall.
Alternatively, if metal element is missing from the waterfall, some people add in real fish e.g. koi, carp or goldfish to represent metal element. Or add 6 coins into this fountain.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Avoid buying this type of water feature / fountain

water_feature(1).jpg

Under symbolism in Feng Shui; this water feature may even look like a "monster" or a profile of it.

As such, try to stay clear of such a design for your water feature/ water position. Especially if it faces towards the home

Lots more fountains..

The more traditional type: Round shape sitting on a cylindrical pedestal (red arrow):-

This variant is similar to above.  But instead of a rotating ball; water spouts 360 degrees from the centre circular mass:-

Under symbolism in Feng Shui, best to avoid such a fountain.

This is because in the event that it is neglected in some way or the foundation not useable, there seems to be three (hungry) mouths ... sucking wealth.

The three mouths/lips circled in red

Otherwise, technically it is acceptable.

Hi master

How would you rate this fountain

One word: "Subjective!"

To be honest, highly commercialised and not to my taste-:(

P.S. Furthermore, please note that tiny fountain(s) are not effective in Feng Shui. In addition, if one does not have perseverance in making an effort to constantly or almost daily to add water... one can easily be enslaved to feed it water.

A real waste of one's time and effort.

However, maybe it appeals more to some people's Human or Man Luck considerations but definitely not Feng Shui:-
