These are some cOnsiderations:
1. The main consideration is based on cultural sensitivities (if any).
2. Other than that; why is there a need to beholden to one's favourable or unfavourable element. This does not make sense?
3. For example, take an example of a 1 or 2 carat diamond. You think a girl friend who's element is unfavourable to diamond would refuse it.
4. Please note that this area has nothing to do with Feng Shui or what ever.
5. Given a gift is not like one is fixed or glued to the gift.
6. Please don't be one of the very first to be obnoxious with such things.
7. There are more important things in life than such "peanuts".

Thanks for replying us all.. Please one question always arise in my mind is that if we want to gift someone.. does it matter if we give our favorite elements colour to others like for metal we should gift in white ? eg : mobile in white ? right
