2018's wealth sector is SE = #8. (#8 is the current prosperity water wealth luck from 2004 to 2023. From 2024 to 2043 locate #9. #9 then will be the wealth luck for Period 9).

Actually, this year, Grand Duke is suppose to be in the North-West. While north is the 3 killings.

What is more important is that Grand Duke is in NW and not North, thus, there is no clash with Grand Duke, this year for the study table at the North. The 3 killings north is that one should not do renovations, this year and does not affect the placement of work station, there.

Dear Tiong Tuan,

Generally, if you bought a period 7 house and do not do any major renovation, it is likely that the house will retain the period 7 house luck unless the previous owner have flown it over to new period. So sometimes this can be hard to say for sure.

Of course, if not sure the best way is to always check if the current house luck suits the house or not. If it does, best to try to fly the house luck over to the new period. This will often eliminate any doubts you may have.

As long as there is sufficient major renovations (any hacking of walls or tiles should often be enough). If not you can always have a symoblic fly over by repainting the house ceiling all at one go. Then having at least 3 major celebrations in the house to attempt to fly it over. However, a symbolic fly over may take longer (a year or so) for the house luck to change over.

Whether or not it is worth to fly the house luck over depends on whether the house layout benefit from the new luck or not. Most facing direction often will benefit more from flying over as you will more likely be able to activate the period 8 rather than period 7 (which is a fading prosperity luck).

1. Frankly, if one simply applies the Eight House (Eight Mansions) or Ba Chai Feng Shui, what you had mentioned is very common occurence.

2. Feng Shui is far more "complex" than this and the external Feng Shui : The environment, the site, the building are equally important in the proper assessment of the home. Thus, what you had mentioned is to general for a genuine assessment purely based on Feng Shui.

3. Numerology or house number will often not affect the Feng Shui. But as you had mentioned, usually may affect the resale value as well as one's personal feelings: if we don't feel good about something then it affects our "Human luck" factor.

Here, the holy trinity of luck is:-

3rd Option is Cote D'Azur.

Less lucky under Period 9. As formerly double #8's at it's frontage.

1. From 2024 onwards, North previously with Double Auspicious #8's will become faded or gone prosperity at the frontage.

2. Thus generally the home will be less lucky under Period 9.

3. Check your layout to find where are the #9's located.

3.1. For example, South = Water Star #9 will by then usually be wasted at the rear of the unit. And sometimes this is the kitchen area.

4. The Mountain Star #9 at SW hopefully could at least be at the front door. And hopefully not the yard side of the home.

5. Under Period 9, NE has the Water Star #1 while East the Mountain star #1. Considered auspicious.

Conversely, an individual with Weak Water or even Strong Water could potentially establish a more favorable balance, as they are simultaneously reinforced by the Metal and depleted by the Wood.

Regardless, it remains essential to correlate the stars with the individual residing in the house. Otherwise, no matter how excellent a house may be, if it does not align with the person, it will not serve them well. Last year, 2024, we had the old Patio cover removed and new one installed.  Does redoing the patio cover count as a house rebirth?   I have attached pictures from Google Maps satellite view of the old patio cover.  I have also include pictures of patio covers that are similar to our  new patio cover.  The patio cover is located in the North-West sector of the homes lot.  The new patio cover is nicer looking and allows more light into house.
