Fire at the heaven gate

H Mr Cecil,
Our kitchen is in both N1 and NW3, one of our hob is in NW3, we afraid this hob in NW3 having fire at the heaven gate. We have just put some earth element like glass plate and Pottery item in the cabinet below the stove.
Some FS said NW having bad earth stars (2 and 5) under period 8 south facing house. Putting earth material might enhance the bad stars so suggest putting 6 Singapore $1 coin under the stove. what is your opinion on this?
Also place a small fish tank with 1 small fish inside near the stove does it help?

In my opinion, if you are worried about inflamming #2 with #5; then Yes, in theory, you may consider using METAL element. As it sounds logical.
Again, in my opinion, placing a small fish tank (YANG water element) is not exactly the best idea. Given that this is a kitchen and the critcal piece of hardware is the stove (fire). In politics, they often give this a name : political suicide.
In Feng Shui, an enclosed refrigerator or rather a fridge is considered as belonging to the Metal element. Thus, often, if one needs metal: do remember the fridge is one hell of a huge Metal element. Do think about it.

Hi Mr Cecil, Thanks for your reply.
Another question is if we place two 1.5litre of water near the stove to cure stove in NW, may I know should we open or close the water bottle, can we keep inside the cabinet, and how often should we change the water?

Based on common sense, it does not make sense to leave the water bottle open.
Often, if there such water bottle is not too close to any heat source, often, in a closed position, it can be left there for quite sometime. Signs that it needs to be changed are when there are bubbles in the water or when the bottle shrinks. Thus it is close to "install, forget for a few months..." sort of thing.
