1. Please refer to the above sample:-
1.1 For example at SOUTH compass direction.
1.2 The 20 Year Flying Star is for a home that is under Period 7 (1984 to 2003).
1.3 So long as this home is not totally torn down and re-built; one school of thought says that this home will always remain as a period 7 home.
1.4 But between 2004 to 2023; the same chart can be applied to the home. The only difference is that the double #7's at South facing becomes past prosperity. No longer the current wealth luck sector.
1.5 From now to 2023, this home's wealth stars are located at North (Water star #8) and NE (Mountain star #8).
2. If you examine the about chart carefully, there is such a thing as an ANNUAL flying star number. As this term suggests, every year, this annual star changes.
3. For example, the annual #9 flies to the South sector (this year).

Thank you for the very detailed explanation. However, could you please tell me at what date in the year that the annual star changes position?

These are some considerations:

1. It is sometimes good to look at past history and drawing a parallel from the 20 Year Flying Star Feng Shui.

2. I remembered clearly. The year was 2003. One year before the 20 year flying star period changes.

2.1 During that time, the most affected homes and apartments are those where especially the water wealth star #8 (WS#8) fell into the centrepoint of homes.

2.2 At that time; the most significant are apartments that had water star #8 falling in the centrepoint.

2.3 And many homes that require (help) S.O.S. at that time or called for Feng Shui help were those that had this were NW (NW2 and NW3) facing apartments.

2.4 During that time between the beginning of 2003 to even till end of December 2004; I could recall, receiving numerous calls for "help"!

2.5 I would say is your facing direction NW? And some who know how to determine the facing direction inadvertently said : YES!

2.6 You judge for yourself. Isn't it too coincidental?

2.7 As majority of such homes are apartments (NW2 and NW3), most of the layouts are pretty enclosed or trapped.

2.7.1 Thus when water star #8 falls into this area; it is like wealth luck suddenly trapped and very difficult to activate.

2.7.2 Some even call this dark period of their lives = small or little or no luck. And some geomancers even suggested placing a water position if POSSIBLE.

2.7.3 But, even so one could hardly squeeze out the "small" luck.

2.7 To-date as we are more than half-way point to the next period 8 (2023 to 2043); Such NW2 and NW3 apartments seem to have their fair share of good and bad. Not like what was faced during their "dark days between 2003 to 2004".

3. Back to your question.

3.1. I have to say "IT DEPENDS!"

3.2. Earlier, I have posted a real life example of how a client's office cum factory was affected by high rejection of their products due to production problems.
In their office layout, the centrepoint has clear space and just roughly a month before Chinese New Year, their woes begun.

3.3. For example, there are not only different facing directions and periods.

3.4. One has to consider:

3.4.1 Shapes and Forms Feng Shui such as the interior layout. (And of course how superior or inferior is the external environment).

3.4.2 Glance thru the 20 Year Flying Star in relation to the Yearly stars.

4. As I had previously mentioned in the past. Many homes are not identical even if your layout is identical; your apartment or home can be separated by a wall or on different ground.

5. Again, in the past, I had mentioned that some homes are like unpolished gem. While others are already below par; such that before one applies Feng Shui, the car is like a 10 year old run down 1,000cc car!

6. So, which home can best buffer itself from the "thunderstorm".

6.1. Of course, the home that has the best buffer and reserve. But a home which is already like a 10 year run down 1,000cc car, cannot afford to have further breakdowns!

6.2. Thus, you cannot just say that all homes will be expected to face similar problems. Some don't even feel the tremor!
6.2.1 While some with just the wrong annual stars would be in deep shit; as soon as the annual stars become strong.

6.3. Thus for some homes or offices, a month before the change of annual stars (by Lunar day); such homes are affected by it.

6.4. While some homes because of it's borderline buffer may be affected after Chinese New Year.

7. Therefore, one must truly do a proper Triage, first. It is just like modern science.
7.1 For example nowadays, some tests can even detect whether one has certain cancer genes. And take some precautions, if any.

8. We cannot just simply fit all homes/offices into one simple glass.
8.1 And then, if it happens that we are observing or trying to work on that home; find that our fears may be unfounded.
8.2 How come, the tsunami did not arrive at that home? One is thus considered barking at the wrong tree and not opening our eyes wide enough.

Hey! Not all homes have the same Feng Shui!
Drawing a parallel, I am not trying to boast! But, please look at me as a BILLIONAIRE!
Like a billionaire, I have lots of spare change!
For me, what is there to be scared of the annual stars! This year, next year? 20 Years later maybe!
Unlike maybe another home. That "suffers" from poverty! I believe for such homes, a tiny breeze can even blow away these homes!
So, please don't come and "place fear" in me! Or threaten me... with changing stars!
In the first place: please ponder over this first: The forms (superior Shapes and Forms) determine the stars and afterwards, the stars then determine the luck of the house.
As a "billionaire" I can affort to select the best SPOT with superior Shapes and Forms. Like steroids, to boost my Feng Shui luck to the maximum!
Go find some "cheap talk" on annual stars, elsewhere.
Note: Please note the above is just a fun way of illustrating a point.... no offence intended!

My home has the same spelling as other HOMES.
So, please tell me WHY, I always have the WORST damned LUCK as compared to my neighbour next door.
I am unable to get out of the vicious cycle of poverty loop!
Worse still, every ANAL (sorry) I mean ANNUAL stars brings me further BAD LUCK!
