Is T-Junction inauspicious? How to know this?

Hi,

Reference to right hand drive, can I check if house 1 under the picture is considered as in path of poison arrow? Is T-junction only applicable when its direct 90 degrees head on?

Also, if there is a temple house separated by another 2 house, is it ok in terms of fengshui?

Thanks!

In my opinion, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, even if it is not an exact T-shaped junction:

A. The entire frontage is exposed to the "slanted-T-junction" = Sha qi

B. The sketch may be misleading.. but what is stopping a vehicle plowing in a straight line towards the gate of house 1.

Although the drain with railings does help.

The layout is just a 2D view.

As there is still a service road between this huge junction + there is also a canal + railings.. better than it is exposed directly to the junction.

The test is that even a solid car or even truck has no means to fly into the home. This test alone makes it pretty safe.

Again, if you get an utra conservative geomancer's advice... then...

The first question one should ask is: “Is this a right or left hand drive country?”

This would determine the extent of a poison arrow (if any).

If the poison arrow eg. in a right hand drive country via the red arrow is aimed towards an opening? A main door? Or sliding doors?

In this example; this service road serves only one unit. At a dead end road.

Thus the negative effects of Sha Qi or poison arrow(s) is reduced.

This house faces a T-junction.

Often the owners go into a defensive mode and a build amore robust solid frontage similar to this illustration.

With the exception that some don’t add additional Lion’s..

This photo was taken directly from the main gate of the house. It shows that this house faces this T-junction:

House is not at a T-junction but at a curve.

This house at a curve can also be considered as facing a Sha Qi.

These are TWO tests:-

1. Whether there is any likelihood of a vehicle ploughing into the home or an accident occurring at this spot ... with vehicles skidding or ploughing....

2. Any protective barriers? For example: high walls or solid looking walls?

Often if none, often for such homes they can still suffer from poor Feng Shui. Particularly poor Shapes and Forms.

Many of such homes remain unrenovated by the existing owners for years on end. Until the cycle of someone buying it from the existing owners - do a major renovation or even redevelopment of it.

Thankfully, the government (LTA) has installed a convex mirror on behalf of this home! How nice of them.

Case Study: Question Guess which home is (may) be affected by Sha Qi from the service road?

1. If I were to approach this question: The first thing I often asked myself is: Which country is this?

1.1. If it is Singapore, then the clue is to look at movement of vehicles with RIGHT-HAND drive characteristics.

1.2. Thus in my opinion, the first thing one should look is the FLOW of traffic.

1.3. To visualise whether which house or where the most likelyhood of a "Sha Qi?"

1.4. One could use or visualise the "route" travelled by the blue arrow.

1.5. Ask yourself this question: In the unfortunate event of an accident. How does a vehicle travel.

1.5.1 The most likelyhood is that the most likely probability is that a drowsy driver or a tipsy (drunk) driver or even in the past.. some car makes and certain models were attributed to sudden acceleration.. and acceleration often is in a straigh-line.

1.5.2 Assuming a run-away (in a RIGHT hand drive country) if the vehicle plows uncontrolled in a straight line? Where will the most likely point of impact?

1.6 An estimated guess would be at location Marked as "X" or even smash into the wall or if really bad-luck ploughs into the gate of house "A".

1.7 Therefore, an educated guess is that on Singapore roads, house A is less safe then B.

2. What happens if this is in America or China or Korea or any other countries that use LEFT-hand drive cars.

2.1. A different conclusion is that as these cars also drive on the right side of the road, there is a higher chance that house B may instead be of risk!.

Case Study: I hope that you have the time to read the (above) earlier threads.

As this time round, I am not going to write any comments.

Sincerely hope that you can try to figure it for yourself!

I am confident that you CAN!

Here goes...imagine that you are walking towards the home.
