Let's transport ourselves back in time and towards the year 1954:- Then the cemetry was called Mohammedan cemetry. In today's map, it is still shown simply as a muslim cemetry. The cemetry is still there today! And it is south of Flamingo Valley condo and to the west of Elite residences. Counting from 1954, the cemetry is at least 60 years or more. Today, Siglap Road joins Fidelio street to give Opera Estate additional roads leading to and from the estate. In the past, as Opera Estate was at low ground, it was prone to flooding many years ago.
