Mont Botanik Residence formerly Hillview House has been torn to be redeveloped by Tuan Sing

A new freehold site by Tuan Sing on former commercial office spaced known as Hillview House.

These photos were taken in May 2018, as I was doing a Feng Shui audit at a near-by bungalow home for an old client of mine:-

Please don't mistaken the former Hillview House with erh.. Hillview Mansion (the haunted one)....

PS. Don’t be mistaken Hillview House for the notorious “Green House” called Hillview Mansion. The other two houses: Matilda house and  The “Red House” situated at 191 Jalan Loyang Besar near Pasir Ris chalets:-

These three are considered the most haunted places in Singapore.

Sorry for the side-track. Anyway, Mont Botanik is a relatively safe distance away from the former haunted mansion at Hillview Mansion-:)

Fortunately there is the development called Century Mansion at the lowest point of the same slope as Mont Botanik. Hopefully this new development has sufficient drainage to prevent damp soil.

Former Hillview Mansion: one of the most haunted was located at 130 Jalan Dermawan.

This haunted site was demolished and Today, it is known as Hillview Court.

Mont Botanik Residence is at Hillview Court’s 4 ‘Oclock Position. Roughly 800 metres away (plus minus).

If you are a wind chime lover, I suggest you skip this development...

Case Study: Type B1 : 3 bedroom + Study = Inauspicious for sink to directly face stove

1. Frankly, in Singapore, architects/designers seldom make the same mistake as in this kitchen layout plan of placing the sink directly facing the stove.

2. My proposal is for the purchaser or if possible, get a few purchasers of this layout design to write to the developer on behalf of all "affected" units to move the sink towards B. Given that table B has a wider width. If so, I am confident that based on the above, it is feasible.

3. In the past, I seen many clients from other developments are able to communicate with their developer on some minor changes. For example, this year, a client did not want to wall-up their store-room. The developer was happy to oblige. Since they even save money by not installing the dry wall for that area!

3.1. As it "affects" three stacks get the developer to get some changes done. I am sure, the rest of your potential neighbours would be glad that this is done. (Whether they know it or not does not matter... Lol)

4. Instead of later, having to do a "costly" modification by many due to such a well-known Chinese taboo/stigma.

Case Study: Qi Flow and Mont Botanik

Legend:

A = Bottle-neck. Fortunately it is the sides of stacks #01 and #07. But due to wind vortexes, on a windy day, wind can curl towards the master bedrooms of both stacks/units

X = For stack #07; again on a windy day, wind can be guided through #08 and #09 + channelled through #06 and may be forced towards #07 at X. X is the entire facade of #07.

Same is true for #01. For #01, thankfully, there is at least some sort of a buffer from it's neighbour Century Mansion.

For #07, fortunes + health can wane from very good luck to bad luck and even affecting health = depending on wind conditions. Thus if too windy, one way of controlling is to minimize the exposure of the interior by controlling the balcony sliding doors/windows.. (or even external zip-track - if any)

BEWARE OF THIS AGE-OLD FENG SHUI SCAM

No wonder, Feng Shui suffers from a bad reputation, today

Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui.
But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui.

Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one:
