Advice on placement of altar in a landed property

I have a general question regarding ancestor table at home. Can we worship both the husband and wife side ancestor in the same house but in 2 different ancestor table ie 1 ancestor table next to the main god and another ancestor table in the dining room? Please advise. Thank you in advance for your help.

These are some considerations:

1. On a specific altar ideally, there should be even number of Gods to be prayed. Thus, often 1, 3 or 5 deities.

2. For ancestor tablets. Actually, since they are not considered gods. Thus there is usually no restrictions to the number on an altar table.

3. It is "Nice-to" be able to separate different positions for ancestor tablets belonging to different families. There are also instances where different families can still be within a space. Either separated by a partition or spaced out. 

3.1. However, one has to ask the question: Is their a "high ranking" family member or a matriarch who reigns over a home? 

3.2. Often, if so, one has to seek approval from such a person.

Thus the conversation could be this:

The filial home owner: " Grand mother, can I pray to separate family tablets?"

The Matriach: "No." And her NO MEANS NO. (FULL STOP).

4. Often, one should be discussing with family members to see if it is acceptable to the family members or not.

5. Thus, even if outsiders were to say "Maybe can" or "Okay" The above can be an overriding consideration.

6. If one has been cremated for example; an urn containing ashes is considered as "Ashes to ashes". And whatever remains is considered as neutral.

7. This is why in many columbariums: niches: the dead can be kept as high as 10 stories or more high stacked on-top of each other = No issues.
