Toa Payoh Ridge  will be located at the junction of Lorong 1 Toa Payoh and Toa Payoh Rise. The development comprises 4 residential blocks with staggered heights of 25 to 40 storeys. The topographic features of hills and foothills inspire its design and name.

Integrating modern living with the surrounding nature, viewing decks at the roof garden over at the Multi-Storey Car Park, trellises, and community living rooms will provide you with a respite from the hustle of daily life.

two.png.6aeb3615de7e3e598fb052c7946cd623.pngYou can also enjoy the conveniences of a childcare centre and Residents' Committee Centre, which will be located within the development.

You can choose a home from 920 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, and 4-room flats at Toa Payoh Ridge.

Case Study 2: Is it inauspicious to purchase a unit facing a junction?

1. There are two perspectives:-

1.1. Common sense

1.1.1. Around 3 years ago, after a client moved into their unit at Prive (EC) Punggol.

1.1.2. The client told me that at times it was quite scary to hear heavy braking + often metal kissing metal.

1.1.3. What the client wanted to say that there is a higher possibility of accidents occurring at traffic junctions; then say a home facing a road.

1.1.4. He was staying at high floor; yet could still hear all these unpleasant encounters.

1.2. Another is hear-say from someone who says that a runaway vehicle may in a one in a million chance plough towards the "home".

1.2.1. Fortunately, here the home is not a landed property but a unit in the "sky".

1325422641_ismystackunitfacingajunction.thumb.png.cc63bdbe8b00580fb913e029788ad367.png

2. Some junctions can be "dirty". Dirty in the sense that at sometime or other, if one is unlucky, death had occurred at a specific junction.

2.1. If so, this is not good. Thus could inadvertently invite some malignant into the house.

Case Study 3: Any concerns with the two Electrical Sub-Station (ESS) at HDB Toa Payoh Ridge?

1. Even if stacks #606, #634 and #636 are closest to the two ESS, they should not be a concern at all. As there are no documented concerns of a person staying close-by to magnetic influence from the electrical power station (if any).

1.1. Firstly, both ESS are only 1 storey high. And relatively a distance from the above three stacks.

1.2. To be on the safe side, avoid purchasing #02 and #03.

1.3. This is to totally eliminate the concern of future re-sale value (if any).

Case Study 4: Good that the single Precinct Pavilion (PP) is located at one corner of the development.

1. Thus only low floors of stack #630 has a direct view of the PP. While #632's living room at a slight angle can see into the PP.

231565300_TOAPAYOHRIDGEPRECINCTPAVILION.thumb.png.069a6428f14c3a9fa1f0817f96d0456c.png

2. During funeral activities or even occasions like a wedding at the PP, stacks like #634,  #640; in addition to stacks #630 and #632 can or may hear the noise activities (if any) at the PP.

Case Study 5: Staying to future High rise residential construction and/or a school

1273330237_ToaPayohRidgeneighbouringfutureconstructionnoise.thumb.png.27d1bbb71542d72dcf39b0e0d300f74b.png1. Frankly, no one would volunteer to stay in a home close-by to another construction site: noise and often dusty and also also includes heavy vehicles plying the roads close to one's abode.

2. Seems like HDB flats in Toa Payoh are often twice as high as some sub-urban estates. Often these flats can rise to as high as 34 or more floors!

2.1. The higher these flats, the longer it takes to complete them.

2.2. Last year, there were flats that took around 4 to even 5 years of construction!

3. Construction of schools are equally bad. But often, the turnaround time is faster. Often can be between 18 months to 24 or 28 months. Depends also if it is a Primary or Secondary school. And how large is it.

4. Thus if one has a choice, avoid stacks/units close-by to such construction: For HDB Toa Payoh Ridge; two reserved for high rise plots are close-by to some of the stacks/units. While one (circled in BLUE) is relatively okay .. given that it is pretty far from this development.

Dear Master Lee,

i am new to this bazhi calculation but i have been following your posts and analysis from the previous threads on Kim Keat Ripples as you give good advice for somebody exploring potential units.

  1. Does any of the units in the Toa Payoh Ridge has the issue of Fire at Heaven's Gate?
  2. Is the NW direction determined at a unit level or determined from the overall direction of the building?

With reference to your post

 and

3.is it safe to assume that in reference to your post above, should the answer in point 2 be yes (determined at a unit level), then the following units are not ideal?

a) 403B - stack #650

b) 403A - stack #630

c) 402B - stack #616

are there any other stacks that face the ssue of Fire at Heaven's Gate in Period 9 at Toa Payoh Ridge?
