Storm knocked down 2 trees.....

Dear Cecil,
A strong storm knocked down 2 trees in my property. One of them still has its trunk in tack, and the other tree is left with half of it vertically. I just happened to read a feng shui book. The author points out that the residents can be affected by how the trees grow and their conditions. What should I do?

Dear Judy,
Based on Feng Shui, one has to try and protect `entrances':
1. Entrances such as the main entrance door and windows.
2. In your situation, determine whether, the broken tree stump is now a `sha qi':
2.1 Stand at the main entrance or the window(s) especially if the tree stump is tangent or `cut's across or slice thru the main entrance or a window.
2.2 If, the above is true; then, it is best to try and take immediate action as soon as possible, such as `cutting' down the rest of the tree and remove the roots.
2.3 If the tree stump does not cut thru the window or main entrance, then, you can take your time to uproot or remove the tree especially if it no longer could grow i.e. a dead tree.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
