Please see below:- Please explain to me why Orange belongs to the Metal Element? During Chinese New Year, there are many who bring along two oranges to visit their friends or relatives. To the Cantonese dialect group: Oranges resembles gold or kum. Gold is considered as belonging to the Metal element. Hokkien dialect group also consider oranges as Kim or Gold.
