helo,

The lucky/unfavourable colours are mentioned in mostly primary colours - red, yellow, blue etc.

1) I am fond of secondary colours and which to know more about their associated elements. The colours i am fond of are:

Orange, pink (fire/earth), purple/plums, copper (reddish) and grey.I am a bit confused about the colourbrown. Some say it is earth colour while others say its wood. which is it?

2) can some colours be used to energise/activate lucky colours eg.

for a person needing earth elements can he add Red cushionsin a yellow room to further energise the earth element or wear a splash of red along with a yellow shirt.

Dear Shawn,

Yes, this is because these colours are the key colours that make up the other secondary colours.

Frankly, for secondary colour, it is harder to define due to the fact that if the colour is lighter/darker the element can be different.

Orange for example, if light orange more ie more towards like gold colour, it is made up of more Yellow (earth) than Red (Fire), so more likely Earth element or we call Earth with some Fire (ie Earth-Fire). If dark oranage more, it is made up of more Red (Fire) than Yellow (Earth) so more likely Fire element or we call Fire with some Earth (ie Fire-Earth).

So same goes for the other colours you mentioned:-

light purple = More blue than red (Water-Fire)

dark purple = More red than blue (Fire-Water)

copper (reddish) = Material is Metal, while if more dark reddish is Red, if more yellowish is Earth.

light grey = Metal, dark gray = Water.

So all depends on how dark or light the tone.

Brown for example same thing. dark brown is Wood, light brown can be Earth.

Yes, colours is the best way to apply feng shui to enhance your individual luck or to balance up a unbalanced flying star sector.

For colours, it is always best to have two or better still three colour tone.

  • Two colour tone normally ie Metal-Water, Water-Wood, Wood-Fire, Fire-Earth, Earth-Metal.

  • Three tone colour normally ie. Metal-Water-Wood, Water-Wood-Fire, Wood-Fire-Earth, Fire-Earth-Metal, Earth-Metal-Water etc.

So as long as you do that it enhance and balance each other to create a harmonious flow.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
