Master Bedroom - Please Help

Dear Master Lee,

Thank you for putting up such an informative website - I really enjoy reading it and your resources and all the wisdom you share.

I am really hoping you can please help me. We are looking to rebuild our top floor in order to have more space upstairs for us and our two young children and hoping you can please review the two layout designs we are currently considering.

The problem is that my husband (kua number 9, east group) and I (kua number 5, west group) have conflicting idealsleeping directions according to the eight mansions theory.

In layout #1, we would be sleeping east which would be auspicious for my husband but not for me.

In layout #2, we would be sleeping west which would be auspicious for me but not my husband (5 ghosts) who is the main income earner in our household. I personally prefer this layout over the other due to the form and shape but concerned that the sleeping direction would impact my husband's career due to the sleeping direction.

You probably can't say which would be preferentialin our situation but I am really hoping you can give some sort of advice for us to consider.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and consideration.

Kindest Regards,

Annie

My sincere apologies for such a late reply and verifying your posting.

This is because we are very busy.

Thanks for your compliments. The resources within this forum is as old as 1996.

In my opinion, drawing (thanks also for the layout plan);

I agree fully that the bed-head position is the best for this master bedroom layout plan. And you have also avoided the bed facing the toilet door.

This bed-head position based on Shapes and Forms has the highest weightage.

I am now attaching the illustration showing who should preferably be sleeping where; based on this understanding:-

Master Bedroom: Which side must I sleep on

In your case, since your hubby is an East group person; he should be sleeping closer to the East compass cardinal point.

Here, he is like your knight in shining armour shielding you at East.
While you should sleep closer to the NE compass sector closer to the windows.

Bear in mind that Feng Shui accounts for 33.3 percent of the earth luck.

Thus, the other two luck systems are: Heaven or born with.

The other is Human or man luck.

There were instances where e.g. the husband is so used to sleeping closer to the window side; and this is his feel good factor no matter how much an outsider says.

Thus, the sleeping positing is considered "nice-to" and not a "must-do".

Therefore in the event that if you or your husband have already a preference; then no issue, go for it.

Many a times; HUMAN LUCK or feel good or feed bad kind of thing; then go with this first then whatever theories say it is the better choice.

All the best!

If one has the time or wants to look through the previous threads; then appreciate if you could type in " Holy Trinity of Luck " and you should be able to get more "hits".
