  1. I have read from a Lillian Too 's book that a five solid rod wind chime can be used to counter 5 yellows for year 2000, but I also read from this website that a 5 solid rods wind chime should not be used. Can someone please explain the significant and use of solid wind chime as compare to hollow wind chime. thks .

  2. Dear Ang Chye, Upon reviewing your message, I would like to inquire about your reasons for wanting to hang a Wind Chime. Is it solely due to the presence of star 5 in the year 2000? Or is it because the imbalance of Star 5 in that particular sector necessitates the use of a Wind Chime as a remedy? Personally, there are more effective cures available than using a Wind Chime, which can often come with complications such as varying element types of rods, different rod numbers, and hollow or solid rods. Additionally, incorrect placement of a Wind Chime may lead to more issues rather than resolving the existing problem. It is advisable to only apply a cure if you are certain of imbalances in the sector. While Star 5 is classified as a Sickness or Misfortune type of star, similar to Star 2, both being of Strong Earth, your focus seems to be on the star 5 of the year 2000. To determine whether this star is auspicious or inauspicious, it is essential to consider the 20-year base star, such as 6-3-8 (where Mountain & Water are related to the 20-year base star). When Star 5 enters, it becomes 6-3-8 plus 5 years. This does not necessarily mean that the 5 star will bring bad luck or create an inauspicious sector. In terms of Flying Star, there are triple combinations like Wood, Fire, Earth, which are considered harmonious and lead to the production of Metal and Water, promoting harmony. Therefore, if your intention to hang a Wind Chime is solely due to the presence of star 5 in that sector during that year, it is advisable not to do so. Moreover, there are more effective cures available than using a metal 5 solid rod Wind Chime, such as 6 coins with a red string, which do not pose the risk of attracting playful imps or come with complications. These cures have been proven to be highly effective for Stars 2 and 5. However, I must emphasize that I am not suggesting the use of 6 coins without knowing the specific imbalances you are experiencing that prompt you to consider this remedy. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  3. A 5-2-9 combo in a NW kitchen is not so good as stove is fire and thus builds 5/2 earth negative star plus the 9 amplifies whole mess. I was thinking on putting a clock with metal chime and pendulum in kitchen. Would this be a good cure to control Wu Wang energy? Many bad luck things have happened since moving in. What do you recommend? Thank You.

  4. If the kitchen has a window, then, you may consider especially a six hollow rod wind chime. If you really can't find a 6 hollow rod wind chime; then as a last resort, get those with hollow (rods). Your alternative of putting a clock with metal chime and pendulum is an alternative provided the pendulum is made of real metal. Nowadays, many "fake" pendulum clocks have pendulums that are made of plastic but sprayed painted in metallic colour.

  5. Hello again Master Lee, We plan to build a new house facing W3 and sitting E3. According to my eight mansions chart, SE is supposed to be my best location for prosperity HOWEVER, the natal house chart for period 8 says that this sector has #5 mountain star, #2 water star and #7 base star. All the stars are bad stars. So is it safe to assume that I should prioritize the flying star chart over the eight mansions chart? In that case, I will just have to put my toilet area/walk-in closet in this SE area? And my bedroom in my East area? (I'm kua #1). Thanks for all the help you've been giving so far!

  6. 1. In general, yes priority should go to the Flying Star Feng Shui. As it is "real time" or dynamic! 2. For example, if one asks any army (or navy), "real time" intelligence "beats" static non dynamic info all the time. 3. Thus drawing a parallel to Para 2, above, and the above reasoning, priority should always go for "analysis" or "approach to an action" based on something that is or close to real time. 4. While, the Eight House/Mansions should be considered as NICE to have and not a MUST have! Quote: Katrina L. wrote: Hello again Master Lee, We plan to build a new house facing W3 and sitting E3. 7. Hello Cecil, I was informed that if you tear off the original roof (completely - so that the stars are able to shine into the house) and replace it with a new roof that the birth year of your home changes. Is this true? I have a 5 mountain and a 9 water in my kitchen. The base star is a 5 and the visiting star for 2002 is also a 5. How can I prepare for this situation?

  8. 1. Yes, if one replace a new roof, it is said that the house changes to a new birth date. 2. However, please take note of the following:- 2.1 The main Flying Star Theory uses 20 year period for analysing the birth chart of a house. Thus any house build between 1984 to 2003 is considered a Period 7 house. 2.2 Therefore, since we are now within 1984 to 2003; changing the roof makes no difference to a house will still be considered born under Period 7. The difference is only when a house birth chart is other than Period 7. Therefore, a house born under Period 4, 5 or 6 will have it's birth chart changed e.g. in 2002 when the roof has been changed. And will take on the Period 7 `birth chart'. You need a metal cure here. Please note that the yearly star #5 begining from 12 February 2002 is at EAST. Therefore, I assume you that you must have this correct i.e. your kitchen falls in the EAST. If so, since there are 3 x #Five's the best cure is to use a 6 rod metal wind chime or a `real' grandfather clock ... so that the constant `cling' of metal can help to destroy the 3 x #Five's. Caution when using a grandfather clock - it must be those that have real brass or metal pendulums. Not those cheap imitations where it uses a spray painted on plastic pendulum. If you do the above, then you do not need to hang a 6 i-ching coins at that sector. (The 6 i-ching coins is a secondary subsitute but is not as good as the above remedy(s). Warmest Regards, Cecil
