  1. Where should my bed go? The bedroom is not in a rectangular shape because of an indentation where the closet is, (So therefore with the exception of the NW and W the bedroom door is not visible to the rest of the room) and the window takes up almost the entire SW wall, though there is slightly more wall area toward the more western side. The downside to the W corner is that just on the other side of the wall is the back door to the building, with people opening and slamming the door late at night and early in the morning. The other side of the wall is the main corridor of the first floor of the building. There isn't too much traffic, but it is noticable. ..hall.. _bdrm door |.......| |.......|CLOSET |.......|________NE___________bathrm door_ | N ............HERE?............. ......E| |........................................ | | ........................................| |........................................ | NW........................................|S |................................. here? .| |.........................................| |HERE?....................................| |.........................................| |...................here?.................| W________..............SW window....____S | My forunate directions are NE, NW, W, and SW. SE is my death direction. S is disaster. The room is very small, and the window is almost the entire length of the SW wall. There would be no space for room dividers or screens, although I would like to put a curtain of some sort (either beaded or some sheer fabric like chiffon) to cut off the odd shape of the bedroom door passage way to make the room a rectangular shape and soften that harsh wall corner. Keeping in mind that the bed will take up a considerable amount of space in the room (about 1/4 of total floor space- and I just have a small bed), if you were me- WHERE WOULD YOU PUT THE BED??? THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE FOR THEIR HELP!
