I'm planning on designing my house for period 9. It will take almost half a decade for city approval and building. I read that it's not good to have the stairs in the center but I love the design of the central staircase. I'm looking at NW3 Period 9 that will have 8M 1W at the center, double facing star chart, and in period 1 locked for prosperity house. Am I crazy to consider this layout. If I can't have the central staircase with an open well (sky light that directs light down to 1st floor) from top to first floor, than can a laundry be in the center.
