  2. Dear master, thank you for your reply. Actually i have studied many of the resources in your forum and found them to be useful. Perhaps i could ask a more specific question which could enlighten other readers like me, who are considering unconventional placement of altars. From your previous posts, i understand that the ideal locations are within my living room. However, as i am planning to install a 3-feet altar for Guan Yin as well as an ancestral tablet, the area seems too cramped to place a proper dining table. I am also trying to avoid placing the altar near the tv in the living room. So i would like to seek your advice on whether it is suitable to dedicate the entire utility room to the altar/s, resting against the wall and facing the windows.
