  1. We are in the process of buying a newly built house which seems to have a perfect enviornment. At first, I thought the house was perfect too. But in trying to do Feng Shui on it, I have encountered these problems; The Front door (facing East) opens into a living room which juts out from the main body of the house. If you only measure the living room, it is slightly under 1/2 the length on the house. If you add the front porch with the front door in it, the size of this "addition" becomes larger than 1/2 of the house. Is this an addition (facing the North), or is it part of the house with corners missing?? Also, the long wall of the house faces South, and the lower ground. This would be good except that there is very little ground to both the South and the North of the house as it is in a "housing development", and so there are houses in both directions. The front door faces East, and the street. The house is pretty much centered on the lot it is on, but behind the house (West), beyond the back fence, the land slopes down to a beautiful park. There is a small stream further past the park, running East to West. The East (front door) side of the house does face the proper higher ground which gently wraps around the North side of the lot, and down the West side, like an arm chair.
