Death room & activating best directions

Dear Sir: I have a question that stems from complete confusion so please forgive me. My husband and I just purchased a house that is to be built this year. The great thing is, we are both house compatible, I'm north he's south (Kan and Li) My distress is this; our master bedroom (S.W.) is in my death and his irritation direction. The headboard will be in an east direction and no mirrors will be in the room. How do I cure this? I was especially careful in selecting the right house, this is the only room which is a problem. The other less desirable rooms are toilets and garages which will be closed to the rest of the house. My confusion is that of activating our best directions and curing the bad ones.
