House built in 2007

Good afternoon,
will you please tell me whether the main door and a centre of a house have a same importance in feng shui. In general, if the house is built in period 8 and there are two choices between the facing direction of the house (NE or SE) which one is more auspicious? Do the birth dates of all occupants need to be taken in account or just the birth date of the head of the family?
