Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express (All versions) to read the newsgroup: forum.geomancy.net

Q. What are some of the advantages of using a news reader?

1. Saves you connection time - messages downloaded can be read, and replied off-line at your own time.

2. You have the flexibility to search for any information off-line easily.

Step 1 - Click on Tools:-

Step 2 - Click on Accounts:-

Step 3 - Click on Add, then News:-

Step 4 - Your Name is usually displayed automatically (obtained from your Outlook Express):-
(No need to change anything here)

Step 5 - This E-mail account must match the one provided when you sign up at Geomancy-forum.com:-

(Usually, this is your frequent/ regular email address. If you had posted a message in geomancy-forum.com, your message will show this e-mail address. Unless you had posted anonymously)

Step 6 - You must key in :  forum.geomancy.net

Next, Check -  My news server requires me to log on

Step 7 -  Enter your Account Name: As you normally do when you log in to the web forum at www.geomancy-forum.com

Next, Enter your password: <see below>

Step 8 - Congratulations, Click Finish Button:-

Step 9 - You can now use the intuitive screens provided by Microsoft Outlook Express to subscribe to the various newsgroups of forum.geomancy.net:-
