The three storey Adelphi Hotel shifted the third time tothis location at Number 3 Coleman Street. And was there until it permanently closed in 1973. It's last business day was on 25 June 1973. It was considered as Singapore's oldest hotel. The entire building was totally demolised in 1980. And five years later, a smaller office-shopping complex replaced this old grand dame. What a pity! In my opinion: Today, this site is not exactly "clean". As some units.... have sightings of...

1. Many of the letter boxes in Singapore public housing i.e. Housing & Development Board Flats have letter boxes that have sealed openings to prevent outsiders from placing especially flyers into these letter boxes. 2. Only the postman is suppose to have the master key to unlock the back of all letter boxes to allow him to post letters into individual letter boxes. 3. Here, I believe she is paid by someone to help insert their flyers. 4. How do you call this? Vandalism?? Or is she doing a decent job? 5.…

This is an excellent article which parallel my thinking of why Geomancy.net is not on both Twitter and Facebook! I personally would not say that Facebook is over. But in my opinion, Facebook is not meant for business trying to use Facebook to conduct their business. However, Facebook would still be successful for University & many other types of Alumni and car clubs...

1. If you see the trunk of a tree "slicing" thru the window, it is considered a poison arrow. But if these are fine branches with or without leaves, it is a non-issue. An alternative is the placement of a convex mirror at waist level on the outside of the window. This conVEX mirror should be facing the tree trunk. 2. Sometimes, it may only be an illusion that of a tree trunk slicing towards the window. Often, if the tree (tree trunk) is on the side of the window, this is not considered a poison arrow. The tree (trunk) must be directly facing the window or tangent to it. 3. If it is the back of the staircase, it is often a non-issue. The main issue is to see the staircas…
