Hi I have a neighbor who lives beside my apartment. We live in a building condo type. Our doors are set perpendicular to each other. Her living room is separated by one wall from my own living room. She always complain about my daughter playing piano - when my daughter doesn't even practice the piano everyday and not for more than 30 minutes if she ever practices. She wouldn't want any moment of the day that my daughter would practice. She complains against the slightest noise we make. Even when we just sing happy birthday for a few seconds she would start slamming the wall. I can't stand her negativity anymore. Is there any feng shui tip I can use so I ca…

Dear Rose, To answer some of your question:- a. For the poison arrow from street lamp, if you have aday curtain keep it close so that the lamp does not cut into your home. b. A house with missing corners is typically not good. There is very little you can do to fix this given you are on the 2nd floor. But such corners does make decorating it quite a challenge. c. As for the clutter, unfortunately too much items makes anyone feel uncomfortable. You should try to do some cleaning to clear some of the unused item. Also having lots of storage space can help keep such items out of sight. …

Normally, when things go very smoothly for people, things like Ba Zi, Fate, Karma or Feng Shui don't count. Only when things go really, really BAD do people start to delve deeply into these, only when it's TOO LATE to cure the problem. And in an act of sheer desperation, they will TRY and BUY anything just to get themselves out of their very deep troubles, without really first understanding WHAT they are getting into just to get themselves OUT of their miseries. Unfortunately, I was one of them.I have had more than enough of my share of problems for the past two years, which were so far the MOST problematic times of my life. So, after seeing and EXPERIENCING more trouble i…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- More importantly, I usually choose a house in my opinion, that has excellent Shapes and Form and the same time matches me. I look out for poison arrows aimed at my house and make it a point to neutralise it. In some of the photo Tour pictures, I use a gift dragon aimed at a poison arrow near-by. Even houses with `excellent' Feng Shui may have poison arrows aimed at it. So, `protect', `protect' and protect vulnerable areas. The only other consideration is to take note of `sickness' sectors or any other sectors that are out of balance. For pants, I prefer wear especially black or blue. I avoid wearing pink or Red. In fact, I do not have…

In my opinion, no country is immune from having people who fall thru the gaps of social support. Singapore prides itself in being seen as a country without destitutes? Some even say that Singapore is now in a situation of Social Recession. Photo taken at Bedok Central (outside KFC) at around 6.20am.......

Dear Steven, Overall, in very general terms, if one door is bigger than the other, and based on the moouth facing another mouth, the one with the larger mouth would eventually `be the winner'. Well, the above is only a literal interpretation based on the `mouth' to `mouth' senario. A `bigger' mouth would always be able to `swallow' the smaller mouth. If it is me, I would certainly try to occupy the room with the bigger door. *JOKE* Anyway, if we look at it, this is a LOSE-LOSE situation. There are no winners in a quarrel or constant argument. To lesser the blow, a screen or a small linen cabinet can be placed (to act like a screen) on one side of the door. Usually, if one…

Dear Brigitte, Thanks for bring up this interesting question:- 1. Human beings are very complex and currently there are many books written on human relationships, motivation, human interaction etc... but so far no book can explain in detail our personal interations. 2. Some situations are based on the maturity of the couples and the way they tolerate each other. 3. There are many influences on our lifes and relations such as our upbringing, education, personal experiences etc... This is why, sometimes our Pillars of Destiny i.e. our Heaven Chart based on our birth chart changes and this can be explained in an example:- If you do a search, I mentioned the Right and Left Br…

JANUARY 1st - FEBRUARY 2nd AMMON (GOD OF PROPHETS) Those born under this sign have a sure talent for recognising Mr/Ms Right the first time they see him/her - for them it's often a matter of love at first sight. When this happens, usually at a chance meeting in public places like shopping malls or restaurants, you can attract him/her by radiating happiness. You'll find it will captivate him/her. FEBRUARY 3rd - MARCH 4th SUCHOS (GOD OF THE SACRED NILE) Better known as the Crocodile God, Suchos guarded the treasures of ancient Egypt. To be fair, the building was under construction and thus unoccupied, but it's still a minor miracle that there was only one fatality. Sounds like there was a problem with some nearby flood prevention walls at the Dianpu River, but there's no hard evidence as to why this huge building simply fell over. Anyway, here are some sweet pictures of the architectural carnage. [Cellar.orgviaTwitter] LDiscuss

Eunos Market & Hawker Centre once caught fire in the past and was later rebuilt. Trivia: Did you know that, besides Geylang Serai Food Centre, Eunos Hawker Centre has the second highest number of non-Chinese stalls in Singapore? I overheard a lady who lives at Eunos Crescent saying that there were very few, if any, good food stalls at Eunos Market & Hawker Centre. Most likely, she prefers Chinese food. She mentioned that she really missed many of the stalls at Marine Crescent Market and Food Centre, which was closed for refurbishment until next year. We joined the queue at one of the few popular “Handmade Fish Ball” stalls, the one indicated by the blue …
