Blocks 2 & 3 Changi Village Road are nestled in the heart of idillic old Changi Village which was built in the 1920s when the British military bases were operating in the area. When the British left in the 19703, the Housing & Development Board redeveloped the current Changi Village estate and built a market and a hawker centre which soon became a favourite lunchtime destination for military personnel, airport staff and workers from the nearby Loyang Industrial Estate. Over the years, the hawker centre has retained its laid-back atmosphere and developed a reputation as a favourite destination for foodies. Today, it is an iconic landmark in Changi and …

Sometimes the neighbouring surrounding developments try to follow the profile of the road and the architects design these blocks parallel to the road. Please see attachment: One can see that the new HDB Segar Vale development to Pasir Panjang Ring Road / Sega Road. However, unwittingly, as Blossom Residences site is "slanted"; to it's neighbour: HDB Segar Vale; some of the sharp corners of the various blocks become a Sha QI or poison arrow aimed towards the south facing stacks that face this (HDB Segar Vale development).

1. Nowadays, many homes especially apartments: HDB/EC/Condos are getting smaller and smaller. 2. Often, many homeowners tend to install shelving units to fit exactly into these bomb shelters. 3. And in many instances; these bomb shelters are filled fully. And what a chore to remove them temporarily; for example if there is a "emergency" exercise. 4. Thus, it makes sense if the "emergency" is only temporary;to have the bomb shelter built-into the exit staircases. 4.1 As the houseowners do not need tospent time and perhaps lots of effort to remove all the items in the bomb shelter and even try todismantle the shelving. 5.Of course, on the trade-off; ifthere is a real e…

1. In the 1960s to 1970s, the bougainvillea plant, especially the red and purple varieties, was very popular with Singapore landed property homes. 2. Many people planted bougainvillea at the corners of their homes for a reason: with its thorns, it was less likely for a robber to climb into the home from the fencing area. 3. However, the bougainvillea plant needs constant trimming, or it can quickly become overgrown. 4. This house has both bougainvillea and, just behind the cluster of bougainvillea plants, the Lipstick or Maharaja palm. The Lipstick palm has been very popular from the mid-1980s till today, surpassing bougainvillea and even mango and rambutan…

This boutique freehold development located in district 15 has interior layouts that are well-thought out. Even if it is a 1 bedder, 2 bedder or 3 bedders; the architect has managed to fully maximize the floor area. If one can see, in this 2 bedder illustration; the entire unit is a rectangular shape with a minor extension at the main entrance area. The rest of this small development's other layouts also share a well thought out design. By the way, the small size of the unit is made-up by huge

1. In the picture, the home marked in yellow: Number 2 is lower than it's neighbours: Number 1 and 2. 2. Usually, a lower home sandwiched between two higher homes is considered to have poorer Feng Shui. However, this home marked Number 2 (in yellow) has lots of open space: thus overall, helps greatly in it's Feng Shui.

Overview: Bukit 828 showroom launching soon... The actual site of Bukit 828:- In the past, before the advent of BKE, the only way from most parts of the island is to drive past this area; the next marker is Mandai Road before reaching Woodlands then the causeway leading to Malaysia. Then, we do not need to use our International passport. We had another "passport" with the words "Restricted Passport" meant only to be used between Singapore and West Malaysia.
