Common sense plays a large part in Feng Shui. For example, in the two examples; it is best to avoid sleeping with the head sharing the same wall with the toilet bowl's piping. In this illustration; these two layouts have one's bed-head sleeping pretty close to the same wall where the plumbing of the toilet bowl(s) are. Do a search for "Dangers of underground water" for more reading...materials

This Chinese religious home has a highly decorated frontage. With a Tee Kong (Earth god) figurine and altar on the floor. Did you see the Earth God (Tee Kong) - wearing yellow clothing?
