This is ground zero for Tampines New Town’s first few neighbourhood centre. In the early 1980’s prior to the development of Tampines MRT and Tampines HUB, one would have thought that Tampines centered around this block 1xx estate.

Rectangular shape represents earth element. 2. Yellow also represents earth element. 3. The red stripes represent Fire element. Under the Five elements concept; fire supports earth. And this building is build to take advantage of it's surroundings by applying the Five elements concept by being a "strong" or bigger earth element. The existing bamboo pole holders embedded into the external walls of many old HDB flats are danger as they collect water = mosquito breeding. However, these metallic protrusions can be considered as functional yet very ugly / unsightly.

1. This special design lamp posts can be found along the stretch of Lor H Telok Kurau Road. 2. The lamp post seemingly looks stylish; but yet hides an ugly truth: Under symbolism in Feng Shui; it is not good for homes to face the "twin pointed" archer's arrow-heads aimed towards the opposite house! 3. A design ... from Feng Shui point of view that went the "wrong way" to the dogs!

Parc Clematis is on the former Park West enbloc site. The successful bidder is SingHaiYi Group. An aerial view of the site looks like a CRUDE Chinese butcher chopper knife: (Above) Did you see a "handle" and the big mass of curved chopper? But since the butter knive's blade is not aimed towards a neighbour but the apex of AYE towards Clementi Avenue 6, then it is of no threat to anyone else nor benefit this development. 99 year leasehold. Estimated TOP in 2023. Under Flying Stars Period 8 Feng Shui.

1. This picture shows a circular entrance to Chinese gardens. This picture was taken around 1930's. 2. Nowadays, it is rare to find these entrances other than at tourist spots. 3. The picture shows my grandfather and grandmother. By the way, my grand mother is wearing a Cheong sam dress. 4. If you look carefully in some of the family photos, under the topic: Chinese culture: What is the Cheong sam dress? you should spot my grandmother in some of these pictures. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear All MAKING USE OF THE PRODUCTIVE CYCLE UNDER THE FIVE ELEMENTS CONCEPT Case Study ========== 1. This shop's owner / centre-point of shop display lacks water element. 2. In this example, this VCD/DVD shop placed a tall `S' shaped water feature. 3. This `S' shaped water feature has water bubbles rising to the top of this transparent `S' curve. 4. In Hong Kong, it is quite common to see such a monument in buildings to activate `water feature'. 4.1 This is where, a similar `S' curve as seen in this picture is made of metal e.g. Chrome/stainless steel or gold plating. This is placed on a stone pedestal. 4.2 This monument would thus represent:- Metal element: Since the `S…

This condominum in Singapore had `record' sales as it developed its flats / apartments designed around a Figure 8. The scanned article which you are about to load is 90K bytes. Note: The Figure 8 is based on people's perception that the number 8 is an auspicious number. Other considerations has to be taken account i.e. Feng Shui considerations in analysing specific units in the above housing development.

Jade Belts Jade belt is an important part of the ceremonial attire of the emperors and empresses of the Ming Dynasty. Common officials were not allowed to wear jade belts. These jade belts were unearthed in Ding Ling. Both belts were made of high quality jade: One belt is of green jade. While the other belt is of cream jade. Most likely the material holding all the jadge pieces on each of the belt has disintegrated after so many years.
