1. Enclosed please find a picture (around 1940's) of a nine storey high pagoda. 2. This picture was taken at the Har Par Villa, a Singapore attaction. The attraction has recently been commercialised and still around. 3. Typical pagodas have odd number storeys. For example, 5 storeys, 7 storeys, 9 storeys etc... 4. In the past, the pagoda is built on top of ley lines or water courses. It is a known fact that water faults do cause problems. The picture below shows the open `slate' staircase. It is better if the staircase is enclosed to allow Qi to flow more "smoothly." Below, Picture size = 4k Credit and Source: The Straits Times, S'pore, 25th December 1999, Pg 8 Life!

This Bank in Singapore has two towers. = If you notice carefully in the picture, it does not aim poison arrow to itself but to neighbouring buildings. Its a case of poison arrows for `others' and not for self.

The district in Katong, Singapore is a rustic area filled with many beautiful - old houses built between 1890s to 1960's. 2. Attachment shows a house built around 1930's with a distinctive Ba Gua (Fire type of living room area). 3. In another photo " old-and-new.jpg " you will find the backdrop (this old bungalow landed property) shown against high rise Singapore Public Housing " 5 Room " flats built by the Public Housing Development Board for nearly 90 percent of the population. 1. This plant has very attractive small "bite" sized bright red coloured fruits encasing a seed. 2. In my opinion; best to avoid like the plague especially if there is a newborn around in the home. The fruit is poisonous! 3. The common name of this plant is the "false rattan". 4. It's scientific name is : Flagellaria indica and belongs to the Flagellariaceae family. 5. This plant originated from many parts of the world: Taiwan, South East Asia, Polynesia, Australia and even Tropical Africa. BEST KEEP AWAY FROM THE YOUNG!

If one has one's own garden, it is advisable not to anyhow place unknown scultures such as those in some of the pictures taken in the Imperial garden. This is because; under symbolism in Feng Shui, we try to avoid any objects that may look like "hungry mouths" or monster looking figurines.... these are considered inauspicous especially if their mouths are aimed towards one's home.

Some "parts" of Foresque Residences reminds me of another place: Yishun Sapphire Condo and Yishun Emerald Condo. Here, if one owns a unit in Yishun Sapphire and "South facing" one can see into the swimming pool area of Yishun Emerald condo. Thus, one can be "lead" to believe that parts of Yishun Sapphire condo (south side) seems to "belong" to Yishun Emerald instead. Here, please see attached photos. The photo was taken outside of a unit at block 109 Foresque Residences facing North. In the photo, one can see the pool. But this pool actually belongs to a Treehouse condo - another neighbouring condo. And Treehouse Block 60 has one of it's corners aimed towards Block 109 st…

Source & Credit: The π» "Hungry Ghost Festival" is in full swing this month (also known as π» "Zhong Yuan Jie δΈε θ" in Mandarin). I am sharing this surviving artefact from Clyde Terrace Market (colloquially known as "ιε·΄εΉ Ti Pa Sat"), which was once Singapore's largest market but no longer exists. The market was particularly vivacious and bustling during the π» "Zhong Yuan Jie δΈε θ" celebrations. This wood block with the text π» "εΊδΈε Qing Zhong Yuan" carved in reverse was by "εεε ΄ε ¬εΈ Zai He Xing Gongsi" to be used for the celebrations. πππ€ππ€ππ€ This month's "Chinese Yuan Festival" activities are in full swing.
