The premise is that the Chinese felt that if their ancestors are buried in good sites; this will dwell well with their decendants. Thus many parts of Singapore be it Yishun (Teochew cemetry); Old Bedok Road; Aljunied, Orchard Road, Bishan all used to have cemetries - on "auspicious sites. This home marked in purple as A/B has two gate entrances. And the main entrance is never directly facing towards the frontage or the gate (area). Furthermore, it is "deeper" in thus make it less likely to be threatened by a "run-away" car.

1. Even if we want to place decorations; it would be good to place "smiling" decorative objects big or small in any development. 2. Some wise homeowners would prefer to choose: well rounded, happy faced lions on their gate pillars vs having "fierce looking" figurines.

It does not take much visualisation to understand that stacks 141 and 147 are at a disadvantage. Just imagine the windows / balcony openings are at A, B and C. And directly opposite these stacks are another stack that juts out; create poison arrow(s) and blocks it's view. How worse can it get?

1. Should I look at where my future parking lot is before I buy erh... that unit? 2. In this private development or condo; car parking lots are numbered and tagged with a specific condo unit. 3. Some lots are covered. While others are in the open. 4. If I am a car lover, I would first check out where my future lot is; before I commit to buying that unit in this development!

1. This is an old temple, in the heart of the central business district. 2. One unique feature is the burning of a `longevity' or spiral incense. There are lots of it strung across the court yard.
