Shaw Towers, Golden mile complex, People's Park complex and Katong Shopping Centre all these four buildings share one thing in common: the buildings were designed in the style of "brutalist architectural style". Majority of these buildings were completed in the early 1970's. The characteristics are striking vertical lines and circular pot-holes + cold concrete exterior finish. A term associated with the French which derived to today’s description as “brutalist” meaning bare concrete external structures. However in recent times, the building Managements of many of these shopping centres decided to give the exterior of the buildings a coat of paint: Gilden …

This stall must be pretty "old". As one no longer sees such "raised lettering" signages anymore. The signage was very popular in the 1970s to 1980's. Nowadays, such advertisement signages are virtually flat pieces.... Therefore, this stall must have been around for quite some time. Location: In Jurong East Market (next to Parc Oasis) condo.

In many of the pictures you will see that the flags are placed according to North, South, East and West. You can also see the romanised character of each of the Mandarin word for: North - Bei (or a good example is Beijing, the capital of China. Where `Bei' refers to North and thus one can now understand that Beijing is located in the `north'. South - is known as `nan'. East - as `dong' West - is `xi'. Apologies if the graphics is between 110k to 170k each. This is because, the finer details can be view extremely clear. Rather than less clear.

The owner of this landed terrace house opted for a light-weight gate. And it provides good ventilation into the house. The only drawback is that it afford less privacy, that's all. Actually, most homes prior to the year 2000 favours well ventilated fencing similar to above. But not as cool as this modern mesh design. Many today, opted for similar design as below. The gate does allow air ventilation plus provide added privacy:-

CityLife EC recently TOP A case of during booking; one was pretty sure that this area in yellow zone was suppose to continue to be both green and a cycling dirt track... In Singapore, it is more likely that every corner will be turned into some kind of housing development: HDB/EC/codo or into a shopping mall etc...

Note: The full edited Case Study is found here:- http://sg.geomancy.net/about/location-mainpage/location-mainpage.htm Dear All, 1. This is a mini tour of Geomancy.Net's office location. 2. Why is the location chosen? Geomancy.net is located in a low-lying, basin location. In Singapore, this location called `Yio Chu Kang' is particularly auspicious. One Feng Shui Master even mentioned that it is Singapore's "Only Feng Shui cricket' land that is active and wields great supernatural power." Overall, this location is considered very auspicious. 3. This is the first paranomic picture from the inside of Geomancy.net looking outwards. 4. In the paranomic picture, you can have …

1. Imagine, wall falling down a water fall at Victoria Falls or Nigara Falls. This is truly spectacular vibrant qi. As water continously friction with the air to create negative ions. Smell the air... 2. Nothing compares to the above. But what the heck! This is not exactly the vibrant qi that we really want... it is a poor cousin to the above... Please see attachments...
