Location: Mountbatten Road. (Used to be the main road connecting the East Coast to the city. That was before the ECP came into being) It is a pity that we can only see the Ang sana trees that were planted at least 30 to 50 years ago. What a pity, they are no longer planted on most of today's roads. As HDB estate roads are both narrow and does not have a road side divider; such trees are no longer seen in new HDB estates like Sengkang, Punggol, Choa Chu Kang etc... 1. I shall not name this condo development. (It is close to Botanic Gardens.) 2. This condo T.O.P. in 2004. [Around 15 + years old today]. 3. Frankly, relatively quite new as compared to many other condos. 4. However, it is surprising to find a square servicing ceiling panel directly outside each unit's door. 4.1 Left: Can you see a faint square outlines? This small development has a single block of 8 storeys high with a total of 60 residential units. Leasehold 99 years. Expected TOP is under Period 8 Flying Stars Year 2023. A tightly packed (like a sardine can) of stacks/units: P.S. Geylang being a red-light district has a corresponding high number of temples. Lots! A major concern is that many banks are reluctant to give loans to buyers within the Geylang enclave.

Historic 1950’s homes in District 15. Pre-world war II years Mountbatten Road was actually called Olive Road. The name was later changed to Mountbatten Road in honour of the Queen’s grand son.. Lord Mountbatten... I District 15 is at the fringe of the city.. Districts 10 and district 15 combined makes up the highest proportion of the who’s who : past and present of Singaporeans
