One of the rooms turned into an office The last tenant was a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hall:- This is a close-up of the dispensing hall. Notice the large amounts of storage chests. Each chest was suppose to contain a specific medicine. Won't be surprise if one of them contains medical cockroaches and even seahorse etc... The House of Tan Yeok Nee was built in 1882-85 as a family home by Tan Yeok Nee, a gambier merchant from Chaozhou, China. When he first arrived in Singapore, he made a living as a cloth pedler. However. he later established hamsell as a successful gambler and pepper planter in Johor. Malaya. and began trading in these commodltles. The house is one of the two surviving examples of traditional Chinese mansions in Singapore. the other being River House in Clarke Quay. Normanton Park was built in the 1970’s specifically for the Singapore Armed Forces personnel. A typical 5 bedroom point-block flats The sale price was a whopping $830.1 million. And is considered the largest collective sale price for a 99 year leasehold property. In fact, this Chinese development in addition to the above needs to top up $231.1 million to "reset" this property to a new 99 year lease. By October everyone has to clear out. On average each owner received $1.6 million. Paid a final visit to this site..before This October where the new owners / developer reclaim their land.

1. Please refer to attachment. 2. In the attachment, there are three plots that are circled in RED. 3. In the attached government survey map, the circled (RED) areas shows that the plot is often undergoing re-building. 4. Often, either by coincidence or otherwise, all the three plots circled in RED have a large canal behind the home. 5. By coincidence, most likely these homes have changed hands e.g. sold by the existing owners for one reason or the other. And often, a new owner would rebuilt a home on these plot of land. 6. If you notice carefully, to the right of the canal and the three circled areas, there are few if any plots that are undergoing a rebuilt.
