The Buddhist Swastika The Buddhist were the first to use the Swastika sign. Which during World War II had a really bad name. As the German Nazi's copied and use a similar design. In the photos; this temple had used the Swastika design on both their fence and main gate.

This private development @18A Fort Road(under construction)comprising of a total of 12 storeys is tall and thin. Not because it is now clad in a green dust/protective screen that makes it a wood element; but instead, the characteristics of a wood building is that it is thin and (reasonably tall). Contrast this to the building seen to the right of the photo; The Meyer Residence; which is rectangular in shape and is considered as belonging to the earth element. Thus, this wood element building can take advantage of The Meyer Residence when it comes of age (TOP). P.S. Apologies if the building looks like it is leaning to the right. Blame it on my photo taking instead…

If one is driving along Upper Paya Lebar Road, one cannot help to notice a crisp and bright building: This building is the Kim Loong Building: Under the Five elements concept: 1. Rectangular shape represents earth element. 2. Yellow also represents earth element. 3. The red stripes represent Fire element. Under the Five elements concept; fire supports earth. Lift Graffiti, uniquely Singapore One can only find such graffiti once in a life-time of each new HDB estate that has just T.O.P. These graffiti will be removed once majority of the residents have moved-in or usually after 6 months of T.O.P.

HDB Compassvale Mast & internal dry walls I was wondering how long will HDB follow suit in using dry walls for the interior partitions. That was in 2011 when the Livia condo just TOP. I walked into the unit and knocked on all the interior walls. These walls were all dry walls. And for this development another surprise... the toilet interior walls were also non-concrete walls. Just last year, a client sold his nearby CDL unit in the same development and opted for an older condo that had interior solid walls. This client says he just hated a home with such dry walls. He felt that we are already payinga premium for a home, here in Singapore. …
