Further to the above, the earlier pictures shows the Public Housing built in the 1950's. This lot of picture shows the Public Housing built around a decade later i.e. 1960's. This set of flats may most probably make way or demolished for new higher density development as they are not as considered as "beautiful" or worth conserving as the earlier batch built in the 1950's. The characteristic of such flats is the uneven cement walls, showing the profile of laid bricks. Furthermore, these bricks are not made of the usual red clay bricks. But rather, they were made with low quality hollow lightweight cement bricks.

TheNagore Durgha Shrine Originally known as Shaul Hamid Durgha, Nagore Durgha Shrine was built by South Indian Chulia Muslimes in 1828 - 1830 on land granded by the British government. A place of worship and a cultural centre for the Tamil Muslims, it was declared a national monumnet in 1974.

This is another variation (design) of the Qi Lin. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; this pair seems to be "very strong" tough and well endowed then it's other cousins found on other main entrance pillars.

This small development has a single block of 8 storeys high with a total of 60 residential units. Leasehold 99 years. Expected TOP is under Period 8 Flying Stars Year 2023. A tightly packed (like a sardine can) of stacks/units: P.S. Geylang being a red-light district has a corresponding high number of temples. Lots! A major concern is that many banks are reluctant to give loans to buyers within the Geylang enclave.

FLYING STAR FENG SHUI OF STACK #12 These are some considerations: 1. A while back, I visited a client in Bukit Merah. As his HDB flat is more than 30 years old; he told me that nearly every day; someone in his "slab" block is always changing floor tiles. And the noise from such renovations is quite unbearable. Fast-forward... two years ago, I visited the Sky Habitat show-room. And was "surprised" that such a large designer condo "slab" made up of two huge towers only provide "ceramic" floor tiles... And often, there is a likelyhood that especially after the flat(s) changed hands, some owners may most likely change the floor tiles. Dear Vince, 1. Attached, please find a graphic illustration of the " rectangular " court-yard + the Chinese (mandarin) character for tree. 2. The two combined is called " KUN " or trapped or imprisoned. 3. This is another aspect of Symbolism in Feng Shui. 4. Photos of Sky at Eleven. Photos taken from The Arte @ Thomson. Some ponder over buying a unit at Sky @ Eleven for the sole reason that the road leading to the condo is an old folks home. Literally, I know of an overseas businessman who bought a unit there and then decided to live in another luxury condo development. As his reason is because of the old folks home.
