The key to understanding what makes a good water feature is not getting an exact copy of any illustration of a water feature. But rather; to understand the Five Elements and what makes a good water feature. Where if possible, the water feature comprises all FIVE elements. Reference: http://fountain.geomancy.net

This year, is the year of "sky bridges". And this "sky" bridge at HDB Casa Clementi should be considered the Mother of all sky bridges... Look at the two photos, it must costs quite alot of money to build an oval elderly friendly link bridge. BUT, we do pity the person pushing say a wheel chair from the ground up onto this ramp very elaborate rap. For heaven's sake, all blocks have lift and they also stop at this "garden" area. In my opinion, no wonder, why the price of new government or rather PUBLICH housing home priceshave shot-up! SOME ONE MUST have been made to subsidise such elaborate structures... GUESS WHO?

This is the back-yard (backside) of the house. The back of the house has a small door leading towards the main road: Yio Chu Kang Road. (Near-by to the new Greenwich Shopping Mall).

Many of the units within the Punggol Field, Punggol Emerald neighbourhood have poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Especially units that; when one stands at the main door; can directly see the rubbish cute of the entire block. Or, the corridor is dim and dark leading towards the main entrance doors. Does not seem to have good Shapes and Forms i.e. unable to properly accumulate good qi at the frontage or Ming Tang (no Bright hall effect)

I know, many consider it not gloried to see a rubbish compactor. In the early morning, prior to an early morning audit; at a newly TOP HDB precint at Ang Mo Kio Ave 1; one of the block's rubbish compactor was left opened and brightly lit.... The rubbish truck would back up to the compactor and unload the rubbish .... Here.. goes...

1. These pattern(s) of floor tiles has it's roots or origins with Islamic geometric patterns. 2. These tile patterns were popular in the early 1930's to 1950's.... 3. These two homes along Ceylon Road are using "replica" designs"... as often, due to wear and tear, misuse and renovations; many of the original tilesare long gone... 4. It is a pity that most of the homes have been stripped of their ornate wall tiles and beautiful facade! Like the home with the RED main door!

The Dracaena Draco plant / tree. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, plants with rounded leaves are preferred over spikey leafs. Under common sense; usually nowadays, the garden is very small; and if one has young ones running around the garden, such sharp leafs may accidentally hurt a child when the child runs into it. Worse of all, hopefully it does not poke into vunerable areas like the eyes. In this photo; this plant or tree can be of low height or higher.

Photos of Sky at Eleven. Photos taken from The Arte @ Thomson. Some ponder over buying a unit at Sky @ Eleven for the sole reason that the road leading to the condo is an old folks home. Literally, I know of an overseas businessman who bought a unit there and then decided to live in another luxury condo development. As his reason is because of the old folks home.

Those staying at low storeys often need to take a look at their surroundings to see if there are any poison arrow(s) if any aimed towards an opening of their apartment or home....
