The Midtown complex with a mix of residences and shops seems to share the fate of the glut in the sudden explosion of many Malls in Singapore. Although, this development does not have bad Shapes and Forms; This has more to do with it being inconveniently located at the fringe of a small Hougang estate. Look at it this way; there was once a spokesperson from a local bank who told me that when an ATM machine broke down; customers would complain that even a 200 metre walk to the next machine is too far...
