In my opinion, I consider Feng Shui both an Art and a Science. 1. Science : related to the use of numerology under the Flying Star and the Five elements each is based on a number. Although some of the `science' cannot be seen with the naked eye, studies such as done in German, suggest that dangers of underground water are true: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/under.htm 2. Art : The art of practice and interpretation of Feng Shui principles. I believe some of us may not fully agree that is a `Science' but many will I believe overwhelmingly agree that it is an Art.
