  1. Hello, my question is regarding our new home which is not fully built yet - we are occupying only 2 rooms of the house right now and the rest of the house is empty (no walls and just cement floor), we are using it to store our furniture & other items for now. Would I feng shui only the occupied rooms? I have attached a sketch and added the two areas we live in plus the door used. Thank you in advance!
  2. Hello, our front door has MS 5, WS3 and base star 3 (with the 7 yearly!). After reading quite a few postings on your website, I immediately removed my earth sculptures I had there and also removed 2 plants I had there also. Please tell me what cures I can use here? We all in my family use this door and after 3 years living in this home, we are sick, have had accidents and lost my job....I would like to focus on one thing at a time and the front entrance is my first concern. Would a windchime here be good? Any other cures would be very appreciated.
  3. Hello, my S2 home has a MS 8 and a WS 8 at the front door, I don't believe both can be activated however, I would like to ensure good health for both my husband and I once we move in - which element in your opinion should I add considering there is the ugly 3 star as well? Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom with us all!
  4. Hello, my S2 home has a MS 8 and a WS 8 at the front door, my husband thought to activate both stars was to build a 6 tier waterfall made of stone to place inside our home, not far from the front door, However, the base star 3 is here as well! (and the yearly 7), thus, water will only strengthen the wood and the heavy stone will strengthen the metal of 7 as well.....how can we activate these wonderful 8 stars - I obviously think fire would benefit all but would placing a fireplace by the front door be the wisest choice??Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom with us all!
  5. Hi, the area in red is the living room, the garage is the square building to the left of the yellow area.....so the yellow area would be the future patio or outdoor space.
  6. Hello, our new home has the NW sector missing - since my husband is also Dog, this worries me. The NW area will be our outdoor patio with garden (which we have not built yet), but are there cures for this missing sector?
  7. Thank you Cecil, we purchased an old home and demolished it & rebuilt, therefore, google shows the old home not the one we just built.....I suppose I can wait until more of the house is finished but I wanted to get a proper reading to help me choose colors and even materials of the finishings depending on the stars....
  8. We are building a new home and since the walls and roof are up, I wanted to take a reading from the front door. My dilemma is that standing inside the front door, I get a reading of 154 South, taking one step out of the front door, onto the outside landing, I get a reading of 132 SE. The actual door is not in yet and no tiles have been placed on the outside steps - would adding these really make a difference to the reading? I would think the front door is still in the same place, so why am I getting such a large difference in readings?
  9. Dear Robert Lee: In your experience, have you ever had the need to use 2 flying star charts? If year of construction of house is known, but several renovations have been made to the house but those years are unknown, would you use more than one chart? And how would you compare the 2 charts to enable you to make decisions? Thanks! I think your site has a wealth of information!
  10. Hello, I have a big dilemma. We purchased a home a year ago, S2 Period 7, house was built in 1952, however, the owner told us he had replaced the roof in 1995. Using your site & various good books, I made several changes & applied various cures. Things seemed to have calmed down for the whole family except my oldest son.He is doing well in school but has now had 2 car accidents, constant sickness, and we've noticed he's been drinking (alcohol) more lately. Have I made a mistake & should instead consider our house to be a Period 5? We really don't know whether the new roof was just placed on top of the old one or if it was totally taken off. How would you suggest I proceed? My son's date is May 19, 1983 & sleeps in the East room. His bed/desk are in his most favourable direction. Thank you so much.
  11. Hello, I must compliment you on a wonderful site. My husband & I will be building a house within the next year. He has made a sketch of the house but it is not a full square shape. It has corners missing and I'm afraid this may not be good feng shui. (the front S/E corner & the back N/W corner) Can you suggest the proper shape or maybe a good book which I may buy to read? If you require dates: mine June 13, 1962, & Dec. 7, 1958. Thanks!
  12. I've always wondered if feng shui helps people struggling with weight loss/gain. Would this just be associated with the general health star? or does this not have significance in flying star?
  13. Edited by Robert Lee: Seems like this is an almost similiar question to another post which I replied in the forum - Click Here to Read Post I have moved into aPeriod 7 (S2)home & brought several nice green plants with me. My living areas are the S & Sw rooms & the N & NW is the kitchen. What areas are appropriate for wood? I have them in the living area thinking I would destroy the 2 Period star but at the same time, am I destroying the 8 yearly & MS? Same problem in kitchen, with the 5 yearly but also an 8 period star!
  14. Hello, I have moved into a new home, it's Period 7 house (S2) and have brought many plants with me. My living room areas are the S & SW, kitchen is N & NW. I can't seem to place them in an appropriate place as I do not want to destroy the 8WS & 8 MS yet wouldn't wood neutralize the 2 star?
  15. Hello. My eating area has 7 MS, 7 WS & 3 Period Star with the 9 annual. I have a tabletop fountain here but upon analyzing this area, I assumed the 9 fire burns the 3 wood, at the same time the 7 metal also neutralizes the 3 wood. Is the water therefore not required here?
