Dear Master Cecil/Robert,

I'm currently sitting with a solid wall behind me. However, on the reverse side of the same wall, there is a basin (with water tap) attached to it, but, we can see it. Whether this type of arrangement has any bad feng shui effect? how to cure?

Noted from your answer to one of the question raised recently that the better house facing for Period 8 is now North-East, South-West. I know that the flying star chart of these 2 facing houses are of that sum of ten, parent string etc... In practice, are they good? Would you mind to elaborate more on this.

Based on what you have provided. Yes, the hacking of walls and extension ofthe areaespecially will be good enough to convert the luck of the office to period 8. These are considered major renovations.

May I know what is your gender, date and time of birth?

Frankly, our analysis does a very indepth analysis of a person's ba zi, meaning it breaks down all the element into percentage then from the percentage evaluation it will evalute whether a person is weak or strong. This is done through determing your seasons of birth, combinations of elements and lots more.

I am not able to comment on your previous reading done. As I have seen many other masters who analysis is so brief that the birth element strength will not be properly determined. So this is very likely the case here. That is why they determined you as a weak water instead of strong water.

All I can say is that if the free report determined you as a Strong Water,than it means that the percentage of your favourable Metal+Water will be greater than Wood+Earth. Fire since it is a double edged element ie destroy your Metal and exhust Wood so is considered neutral and thus cannot be used to side either favourable or unfavourable elements.

The only difference between free and paid report, is that the free report will not show you the detailed percentage breakdown. Only the basic information.

My ba zhi classified as strong water.

You mentioned that to determine whether a person is weak or strong element, the favourable element must be more than the unfavourable element in order to be a strong element, which is in my case.

However, someone told me that I shall belong to weak water. This is because in order to be a strong water, I must have at least 1 resource element (ie. metal) and 1 power element (ie. earth).

I was so confused about this. A strong and weak element person is in contrast in terms of choosing their career, partner etc......

Would you kind enlighten me on this.

The free and paid reports will show the same analysed result. The free reports that is currently available on our website now isn't crippled in anyway. So the same detailed analysis is done to determine if you are weak or strong. So whatever the results in the free report will be exactly the same as the paid one. The only difference lies in the information that is released to for the free report.

Free reports only show your birth element, favourable, unfavourable, and big luck whether luck is with or not with you.

It is determined by the season of birth and how much of the five elements is available plus a few other factors. Usually, if the favourable element added together is less than the unfavourable element, it will be mean that person is weak.

[Office Room]

Dear Mr Cecil,

I just joined my current company about 2 months. In my office room, there is one unit of 6' height cupboard on the right side of my seat (ie. behind me) and the other unit in front of my seat, I noticed that the protruding corners of both cupboardare directly pointingto me. As a result of small size room, I can't change the position, If I were to buy some artificial plants with leave hanging along the protruding corner, will this help.

My son, who born in 6/9/2000 at 3.30pm. When he was born, he is quite a big & healthy baby. Started from the age of 1 year till now, he always fall sick such as flu, cough, fever.Despite havingfollowed doctor's advice to give more nutrition supplement/food, but his health condition remains weak. He falls sick 8 to 9 times in a year and each time must repeat consulting doctor for 2 to 3 times.

I'm not sure is it due to his bedroom fengshui or his name. I've done a ba zhi analysis under your website which show my son is a weak fire person. His chinese name is "Wei Jia". "Wei" denoteproud and"Kiat" denote prominent/outstanding. Hesleeps with me in aking size bed and this bed is in between oftwo tallwardrobes. The bed islocated at the southof my house which has theflying starWS#1 BS#2 MS#3. My house is facing SE2.

Dear Anon,

This really depends on a few factors:-

1. If it is a home/office built anytime after 2004, it will automatically be a period 8 house.

2. For houses built in period 7, it will remain a period 7 house until a major renovation is done to convert it.

Please note, that a major renovation typically means changing of the house structure by knocking down some wall etc. Such renovation will take effect amost immediately.

Most other renovations that are less major (ie painting of wall etc), or morelike repair work typically are not enough to constitute a major renovation, so it may or may not change depends on how much works are done.

Most of the luck from home comes form the external feng shui. The rest comes from the home itself. Often if the external feng shui isn't good, no matter how much you change the interior, you will not be able to see a significant change in luck.

Last week, my house was broken in by thieves during evening when nobody was at home, most of our valuable items was stolen. We have been staying in this house for about 20 years and this was not happened over the past 20 years. I need your help on feng shui.

We live in a 2 storey terrace house with its facing direction of NW3 and this house is period 7 house. Flying Star 9 and 7 is located at our main door and star 5 and 7 is at the sitting direction. I understand star 7 would attract robberies. Can I put a fountain next to the main door (outside) to control both star 9 & 7. Whilst for the back, can I hang a windchimes and a big pail of water to control star 5 & 7. After this incidence, we couldn't sleep well every night.

By the way, I noticed all the windchimes are made of metal (rods) but the hanger and the base (hitting the rods) are made of wood, will this type of windchime be effective to control star 5? What is the size of the windchime do we need to buy? Your advice is sought on an urgent basis.

[Crystal clear quartz]

Dear Master Cecil,

We've recently strive a small lottery and subsequently bought 7 units of different sizes of crystal point clear quartz. We have placed them together with 6 units of crystal balls in a glass display cabinet at the south location which has the flying star MS#3 B#2 and WS#1 and it is diagonally facing the main door. Will there be any good or bad effect?

I have noticed someone place the crystal ball on the altar's table. Will it be advisable to do so?

Few years ago, a fortune teller advised me to do good deed to reduce the effect of bad luck come to me, the best effect is to donate clothes to monks and create a light at the temper and the monks will bless me everyday to prevent/reduce bad luck hit me in the future. He said that those monks must be powerful enough in order to get the best effect & the best place is in Thailand & the cost of putting on a light is one dollar per day. I'm in doubt whether it is true or effective. Hope you can advise me on this.

In fact, I have had an abortion previously due to uncontrollable condition and I've been feeling quilty over the years. My friend advised me to do praying at the temper every 7th lunar month of the year to avoid spirit attach to me. Will this help?

Crrently, my bed is placed in between two tall wardrobes where it is very bad to sleep on such bed as highlighted in one feng shui book. Is this true?
