  1. Dear Cecil Thanks indeed, and I've always appreciated your common sense approach to fengshui! In our case it happened that all the fish in my aquarium died due to a disease and we had to clean the tank out anyway, and since it was approaching a newyear,I thought wemight as well try to place it inthe most favourableposition for 2009. -The fish tank was originally in SW, to activate the water star8. - If moved to SE, it would activating a "lesser" good water star 1, but this has the benefit of the year star 8. Hence my dilemma above. Between the 2 positions, which do you think is the better position for the fish tank? Thanks, as always.
  2. Dear Cecil I live in a Period 7 South2-facing house, and the Flying Stars in SW and SE are as follows: - SW - Base4, M6, W8 - SE - Base6, M4, W1 In 2009, the annual star 8 flies into SE and I'm keen to activate this. Hence if I want to have a fish tank (with 9 goldfish), shall I place it in (1) SW - where the water star8 is, plus SW is indirect wealth position; or (2) SE - where the annual star 8 flies in? In situations like this, which takes precedence, the flying star of the property, or the annual star? Would appreciate your kind advice. Many thanks
  3. Dear Masters, I just started work at a new office which is NW1 facing in Period 7. TheNW sectorthat I sit in has the following flying star: m5, w7, b8. In June, I fell very sick when the yellow star #5 flew into this sector, probably also aggravated byillness star #2as the annual star. Does the m5 and w7 have an impact as well? What cures can I put in place to control both the #5 and #7 stars in this current Period 8? Would be grateful for your advice. Thanks
  4. Dear Cecil, Many thanks for your advice. I am glad that I do not have to change directions. However, how about the fact that mydesk is in the South sector of the office, where the misfortune flying star 5 and the 3 killings reside in 2008? Incidentally, at home my bedroom is also in the South sector of my house. Therefore I am very concerned as I would be spending most of my time in the South sector in 2008. Please advise what cures I can put in place (at home and at work) to avoid misfortune and loss in 2008. Best regards
  5. Dear Cecil/ Robert, I have been reading about how afflicted the South sector is in from 4 Feb 2008, ie flying star 5 of misfortune as well as the 3 killings. At work, not only I sit in the South sector of my office, I also face South at my desk. I am kua no 3, and South happens to be my success direction. Hence I am concerned that I will be affected by the bad energies in the South in 2008. Should I be changing facing direction to avoid a bad star? Unfortunately the only other direction I can face is SW which is an unfavourable direction. So which is better? (a) Avoid facing South and risk facing an unfavourable direction; or (b) Continue to face South but risk the flying star 5 and 3 killings? What other cures can I put in place to protect myself in 2008? Would appreciate your kind advice. Best regards
  6. Dear Master Cecil, I am renting a shop space at the end of a row of shophouses. It is on the ground floor of a 2-storey HDB shop house. The current facing of the row of shop houses is N2, and there is a wide open field in front, creating the "bright hall" effect. However, there is a tree right in front, which may be considered a poison arrow. (see picture) I have a choice of placing the entrance of my shop facing N2 (the bright hall), or W2 (facing a busy "yang" road). The row of shophouses was built in Period 7. I've read my Flying Stars reports for both facings for both Period 7 and Period 8. If entrance is W2, in Period 8, it is very auspicious because of the "Double 8" stars in front. However, being built in Period 7, I'm not sure ifthe the shop can "fly" into Period 8: a) Must it follow the Period of the entire row of shophouses (ie Period 7)? b) Being on the ground floor of the 2-storey shophouse, I have no chance of"changing my roof". c) However, I will be doingextensive renovation which involveschanging the entire floor, and opening the new entrance atW2 (currently awall). Will this be enough for the shop tobecome a Period 8 building? Would appreciate your kind advice. Anon.
