  1. Hello, Cecil

My brother (Tiger 1962) & myself (Dog 1958) plan to make ching ming offerings to our deceased parents earlier than 5 Apr. We are looking at 27 Mar & 3 Apr - are these dates ok for us?

Also we heard we hv to make an earlier ching ming offerings to the deceased who has passed away no longer than a yr? Is this proper? Can we do likewise for the deceased who has passed away a few yrs already?

Kindly guide us. Thank you. Sable

  2. Dear Robert For stove vs fridge's situation, it was recommended that a mirror be placed either at the wall of the stove or on the fridge. Apart from the mirror, cud we use the bottle gourd instead (hang in between the stove & fridge) to cure the situation ? Or cud we just hang a blind between them or those japanese curtains (short ones with a slit in the centre like those commonly hung at Jap's restaurant) to counter the 'coldness' from the fridge to affect the 'heat' from the stove. Pls advise. Tks & Rgds Sable

  3. Dear Cecil

I read with great interest your 2005 forecasts.

It was advised that those born in the years of rabbit / rooster / dog to avoid attending weddings this year.

However, now I have already recd 3 invites - all from relatives!! One being my nephew.

How cud I minimise the 'cheong' should I attend the weddings?

    Appreciate yr guidance.

    Tks & rgds

    Dear Sable,

    Usually, if an offering is

made, it is best made during

the eve of Chinese New Year

which was suppose to be 8

    February 2005.

Often, during the 1st to the

15th lunar day, it is best to

    avoid making an offering.

Thus, the next best date is on

    the 16th lunar day i.e. 24

    February 2005. It is

    considered not auspicious to

do so between 9 Feb to 23

    February 2005

    Warmest Regards,Cecil
