  1. Dear Cecil, I read that for every person, a person luck is normally apply for a cycle of 10 years based on heavenly stem and 10 years based on earthy stem. Question 1 ----------- I would like to know if a person is short of metal and water , and based on pillars of luck he has a particular 10 years with exceptional higher metal and water, does that mean that the 10 years would be a better and more balance years for him. Question 2 ---------- Does that also mean that during this 10 years, he may not need as much of metal and water, because he already has exceptional higher levels of such element based on 10 years cycle ? rgds Ang
  2. Dear Cecil, I need one piece of advice from you regarding a recurrent pain that my wife suffers. The problem seems to have happen again this new year (2000) She has joints pain ; sometime finger joints , sometime knee joints. Doctor could not explain the cause. They would usually prescribe oilment to rub and some pain killer. Is there anything I could do in application of Feng Shui to reeduce the occurence ? Her dob is 11 Mar 67. rgds Ang
  3. Dear Cecil, I read about a method for analyzing good/bad year where the combination of elements are grouped under "mom", "you" , "money" , "job" & "kid". It was stated that if the combination of "mom" & "you" is greater than combination of "money" & "job", then it is a year where money luck is better . Is this statement correct ? It was also stated that the weakest element is the lucky element of the person and when a year has more of the weakest element, it would be a good year for the person. Is this correct ? thks Ang
  4. Dear Cecil, Please explained if caesarean delivered baby will be less accurate if we analyze their pillars of destiny as they may not be "born" on the true birth hour or day. RGDS ANG
  5. Dear Cecil & Robert, I was reading a book by Hee Yee Fan on "Discover Your Destiny". In it were example of prominent person dob. Li Ka-Shing 13 Jun 1928. day month year Heavenly Yg Wd Yg E Yg E Earthly Yg M Yg F Yg E Li is of Yang Wood. The analysis was that his favourable elements are water and metal (metal generates water) Question: Isn't metal destroy wood instead ? The book also quote that his spouse -earthly branch of day pillar is metal , a favourable element. How is this so if we look at the cycle of destruction where metal destroys wood.
  6. Please advise whether there is anything inauspicious for main door which face NE 32 degree in the year 2000. Recently , participate in a FS tour, the master's observation were mainly done at entrance of each door; he take compass reading at the entrance of each door, is this the correct reading , shouldn't it be center of house / room ? rgds Ang
  7. I was only browsing thru' her book on year 2000 so I can't give any detail of which page etc. Anyway, my confusion on wind chime was the many different applications suggested by different Feng Shui experts/practitioners. My wife has wanted to use it but I am sceptical due to insufficient knowledge on the subject. rgds Anthony
  8. Dear Robert, I have been sending quite a few queries to this websites and I really hope there is a auto-reply notification send back to the person who submitted the query. Is this possible. rgds Ang
  9. I have read from a Lillian Too 's book that a five solid rod wind chime can be used to counter 5 yellows for year 2000, but I also read from this website that a 5 solid rods wind chime should not be used. Can someone please explain the significant and use of solid wind chime as compare to hollow wind chime. thks .
  10. Dear Robert, The paid computerized report summary of my house Flying Star Chart in relation to my Eight House Chart was that it is inauspicious house to me. How serious is that ? Is there anything I could improve on ? thks & rgds Ang
  11. Dear Robert. I am a little confuse of the balancing of chi. Please explain. Question 1. My wife is of "weak wood" and I am of "weak earth". Logically speaking she need to have "more water or wood" to strengthen and I need "more fire or earth" to strengthen my "weak earth". If I use Feng Shui to promote those shortage elements by increasing fire elements , it is going to weaken my wife "weak wood" further. If she increase wood that would weaken my already "weak earth". So how to strike a balance. Things would look more complex if I also consider my son who is considered "balanced" , will any increase or decrease of elements upset his "balanced" mixture of elements ? Question 2. I am of weak earth element and born under year of the wooden dragon (1964). Is there a contradicting elements in my dob or bai zi as wood destroy earth ? Similarly, my wife is born in year of "fire goat" (1967) and she is of "weak wood", does her "fire" burn her weak wood ? thks Regards, Ang
  12. Dear Cecil, It seems that in Feng Shui, the 5 elements are always mentioned ; Earth, Wood, Metal, Water & Fire. I have seen it in the compass method where each sector of house is divided according to the elements. I have also seen it in Bai Zi method where dob is analyse based on the same elements. I have also seen it been analyse in the Chinese nameing method eg. surname "hong" contains the water elements. My question : can a shortage of one element from one analysis method be replace/enhance through another method. For example: if I belong to "weak earth" from Bai Zi , I should logically enhance fire or metal right ? If my name have sufficient metal or fire elements , does that help ? If my name have earth does that strengthen my weak earth in Bai Zi ? Does naming has anything to do with Feng Shui ? thks & rgds
  13. I have read a Feng Shui book that the 5 yellow is coming from North direction in year 2000 and two of my family members have to "watch out" the bad chi from the 5 yellow. What can I do to counter the 5 yellow ? Is there a universal way to counter all these bad chi or deadly arrows ? Thks & rgds Ang
