  1. Dear Cecil: My house lot is configured as follows: I understand it is not good to have the back larger than the front. What should I do so luck and fortune does not flow out to the back and over (lot at the back of the house is even much lower than our lot). Thank you, Anonymous
  2. Dear Cecil, I found out that the a portion of the wealth corner of my home is missing. I read that you can bury three crystals with about a foot apart on the missing area. Besides crystals, can I instead bury the old feng shui coins? Thanks for your help. Chloe
  3. Dear Cecil, Pursuant to my house on the cul de sac, I would like to place a basket or jug on the back of the front door where the stairs run into, i.e. to catch as they say the money running down the stairs. I just bought an big beautiful ceramic urn to put in this spot, but on second thought, I remembered that urn usually is the container for cremated ashes placed in temples. Should I change the urn and replace it with maybe a round basket or jug with a big mouth opening? Thanks for your advise. Chloe
  4. Dear Cecil, I tried to draw the street/cul de sac and its relation to the house. On the porch, I had hang a wind chime and on the top of the front door, I had a ba gua sign. I have a lucky eye that I can use also, if needs be to protect the house. Where the window is, I had planted a japanese maple tree. The walk way is thru the driveway. In the front of the lawn, is the brick mailbox. The street center goes straigt to the front door. I can see the two lanes of the road from my door. The front door faces east. I know I am a West person, so I had put the number of the house on the back of the house. From the front door entry is the staircase, altho the staircase is L shaped. I had put a faceted crystal ball on the chandelier that is on the entry area. Thank you for all your help. Chloe
  5. Dear Cecil, Thank you very much in trying to understand where the house is situated in the cul de sac. The cul de sac is more round than oval shape. But the way you draw the 2 lanes are correct. The right lane of the street directly hits a window, which is to the right of the front door (left side of the front door will be the garage), altho you can see the front door and portion of the garage, once you turn to the street going towards the cul de sac. The front door would almost be facing the center line, i.e. between the right and left lanes. Yes, I can see the road from the door. My front door is a double door with stained glass from top to the middle portion of the door, so each time one comes down the stairs you can see outside the street. The window on the left is where the living room is. I may be able to take a digital camera and take a picture of the frontage and cul de sac, if it will be helpful. Thank you again, Chloe
  6. Dear Cecil, Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I tried to draw as you had requested the position of the house in relation to the cul de sac, also where the front door is facing. The drawing is squarish because I am using a Word processor. Where the cul de sac is should be curved. I hope this helps. If you need further info or drawing to be able to answer my concern, please let me know. Thank you, C. Lin
  7. Dear Cecil, I have lived in our current home for about 10 years. In the last ten years, I had 3 big opportunities to have a lot of money on hand, but each time, the money will slip away. For example, I purchased a stock and it would return 2,000% but because I held on and did not sell, it is now worthless. This happened about 3-4 times while I lived in this home. I thought I would learn my lesson the first time, but no, I would let it melt away the second and third and fourth time. What can I do in my home to prevent this from happening again? A friend of mine puts a basket in the entry way, almost at the bottom of the stairs to signify the money going into the basket, instead of out to the door, which is at the foot of the stairs. Also, she had put a jug alongside the basket, so money will come in the front door. Will this help? A little history of the house, previous owner was bankrupt, so we purchased the home at a foreclosure. The owner prior, who is the first owner of the home, were divorced, forcing a sale of the home. Is this home bringing us bad luck? The home is at the end of the street that curves to a cul de sac, so I had put windchimes on the front entry way. I had also put the house numbers at the back of the house to signify the entrance, since West is my lucky part of the home. The home faces East. Please advise and help me. Thank you, C. Lin
  8. Dear Cecil, My daughter just bought a home that is closing on July 13. Having check your auspicious date report, I find that her auspicious dates are July 8 and 9. Can you tell me what items she can bring to the home to signify that she has moved in? I heard rice was one of the items. What other inital items can she also bring to bring her good luck and fortune in her new home? How about happiness and success in her endeavors? Perhaps the 6 gold coins? Thanks, Chloe
  9. Dear Cecil, Thanks for your response to my question on silk plants. Can you advise me regarding the bagua mirror? Is it okay to put the bagua mirror inside the house? I read that one should not. I had placed it on the interior side of the patio door because the entrance door from the garage faces directly to the patio door without any obstructions. Since this is the entrance that we go in and out of the house, I understand it can be considered as the main entrance. If not a bagua mirror, how to I block the flow? Will a crystal ball do? A plant would block the walkway. Please advise. Thank you, Chloe
  10. Dear Cecil, I was advised to put plants around my home. I had put green silk plants, is that all right? If not, what type of plants should I get? I also read that one should not use a bagua mirror inside the house. Is that true? I had placed the bagua mirror on top of the sliding door to the patio. The reason is because the door from the garage faces directly to the patio sliding door. This is the entrance door we use daily to go in and out of the house because we drive to work. The main entrance door is hardly use. Additionally, our main entrance door faces the end of a cul de sac. I had placed a bagua mirror facing the street and also hang a wind chime. Is that good enough? I also want to have some water around the house, perhaps, one of the those electrical waterfall figurine. Where is the best place to put it? Thanks for your response. Chloe
  11. Dear Cecil, I read that it is not good to have the master bedroom on top of the garage. Unfortunately, my master bedroom is on top of the garage. What can I do to bring about good Qi on the master bedroom? Additionally, the foot of the master bed faces the bathroom door. I understand that is not good, too. That is the only position whereby I can fit the bed in the room. Is there anything I can place like a hanging crystal to break the flow? The bathroom door, tho, faces the dressing room mirror. Is that good? Thanks for your help. Anonymous
  12. Dear Cecil, I work at home on the computer and trade stocks on this computer. What is the best spot in the house to put this computer and how should it face. I am a metal person and my house faces east, altho I am west. Thank you in advance. GoldenDragon
  13. Dear Cecil, I loved this home that we bought in 1991, but I am not sure if it is good for me. I have noticed it does not have very good chi. The first owners got divorced and the second owners lost everything, so we purchase this home on a foreclosure sale. The house faces the end of a road that curves to a court. I had placed a metallic woodchime (my sign is metal). It faces east, while my lucky side is west, so I put another set of house number on the west side of the home. Additionally, we use the entrance door from the garage more often than the front door, but this entrance door faces directly to the back sliding door. What should I do besides putting a plant to block the flow. The master bedroom is on top of the garage, so what should I do to counteract that? I have a swimming pool at the backyard, when it is best to have water in front of the house. How should I bring about a good chi with that situation? And finally, I read that the wealth point is on the top left hand corner of the room, while a photo in the book shows lower left corner of the room? Which is the right corner and should I place a plant with rounded leaves and 3 coins on the corner? When do you use crystal mobile and where would you put it? These are a lot of questions and I appreciate any help you can provide me. GoldenDragon
