I was reading chapter 2 on the look up the date of birth and select a choice, I was born in 1956 and i am female, it chose nw is best direction for my house, but the house i live in is facing south. So probably for my bedroon according to that diagram is death.

I hurt my back pretty bad, and i was looking at the 6 coin theory. My bedroom would be in the North Sector. I just finished doing the pie marking out my lines on myhouseplan, thatput my compass reading outside my front door at south. And my bedroom diagnol acrooss the house in the north. Although half of my room is in the north, and the other half which includes a window is in the N.E. Can i place the 6 red coins on my curtainto help my back. My room is painted sage green, and i haveblack sheer curtains, my bedspread is a rust, a gold and silver, with lines of black thread. Thankyou in advance. Much appreciated. sharon

I was in Barnes and Noble for about 3 hours the other night, and read up all about the flying star, in the bible for feng shui and Total Feng Shui. I don't know what you think of these books. But from those books, i got the opinion that you use the compass inside the front door or basically outside the front door to get your basic compass reading and from there you set your pie bagua that you told me about earlier and position your front door-which is basically south on my compass to the front door. So i would align my south front door with the south on the bagua, am i assuming this is correct. I thankyou in advance, much appreciated. Sharon

I would most definately want to follow the traditional method of feng shui. My house outside my front door faces the south. When i was in Canada this summer i went to a little mini seminar on fs. I told her my house faced south from my front door. i asked her, shouldn't i put the bagua with my front door on the south position where my front door is, and she said, no the bagua is always put on the north position with your front door, as my front door is on an angle it would probably be northwest position on the bagua. i have not read anything on flying star, yet,. So is this the way to do it traditionally with the compass, lineing up with my front door being in the south position on the bagua. or was she correct in saying you always line the front door up with the north position. since i have not read the flying star yet, do i just disregard the attached garage, and line up the rest of the house, disregarding the garage. thankyou, for all your help., in advance, i appreciate it. sharon valenta

Hi there, i apolize for shouting at you, i didn't know. In your reply, about option 2 and option1, the garage or bedroom, that is the kids livingroom. I have 3 living areas, and 4 bedrooms. The front door area, is marked front, and the back door is marked back. But, i have a negative area outside the house, which would make up the rectangle that my house would have been. This area is the Helpful people area. I have read in the book to put a spotlight or some kind of light in that area, so the light is aimed back at the house to illuminate and bring energy to the area. Is this the correct thing to do, and i am also in the process of planting 2 Foxtail fern palm trees, halfway through this negative area, on on each side of my sidewalk, a foot away from 2 round column. Is this a good idea also, or would this be bad. Is there anything else i can do in this negative oudoor area, that would be good. I also have a fountain outside my front door, in that negative helpful people area, it iswith one of those silver balls that you can see yourself in, on top of the fountain, is this okay. I have heard that it would bring wealth, if it is outside the front door, or should i have one outside, and one just inside the front door area. My house is not to large, it is approx. 2300 square feet. I appreciate your imput on this, and i thankyou very much in advance. Sharon

I ALSO READ IN ANOTHER BOOK THAT YOU SHOULD PUT THE BAGUA FACE DOWN SO THE SQUARES OF THE LOVE &MARRIAGE, CREATIVITY&CHILDREN, AND HELPFUL PEOPLE&TRAVEL WOULD BE ON YOUR LEFT SIDE OF YOUR HOUSE INSTEAD OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HOUSE WHEN BUGUA IS FACE UP. WHICH WAY IS CORRECT. I ALSO WAS READING FENG SHUI MADE EASY BY WILLIAM SPEAR AND IT SAYS IN THERE FOR ODD SHAPED HOUSES, USE THE PIE AND IT SAYS TO ALIGN THE BAGUA, PLACE THE FRONT DOOR DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE AND LAY IT OVER THE MAGIC SQUARE. THIS WOULD MEAN MY DOOR IS AN ENTRY FROM SQUARE 8- KNOWLEDGE & SELF-CULTIVATION, WHEN PLACED FACE DOWN. IS THIS CORRECT OR SHOULD I FACE THE BAGUA FACE UP. WHAT IF YOUR FRONT DOOR IS ON A DIAGANOL TO THE REST OF THE HOUSE, SO AS YOU GO IN THE FRONT DOOR, WITH THE BUGUA,IT WOULD PUT THE WHOLE HOUSE ON A DIAGANOL, INSTEAD OF BEING STRAIGHT. HOW DO YOU DO THIS PROPERLY, WOULD I SECTION OFF MY HOUSE IN EQUAL OF THE 9 PARTS OF THE BAGUA, DIAGONALLY NOT SURE IF THIS WOULD BE CORRECT. PLEASE HELP ME, TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS SHOULD BE DONE.
