  1. Hi there, Right now we live in a split-level bungalow which occupies a 600 sqm rectangular lot - which is a corner lot. Our neighbor is a 400 sqm lot - which is also a corner lot. Our neighbor plans to put up a 5 storey condo unit building on his 400 sqm lot. You mentioned that it is not good for a house to be beside a building? Why is that? How do we solve this problem? We don't want to live this area. We are thinking of putting up a FOUR 3-storey townhomes beside this 5-storey building? Is that okay? We will then live in one of these 3-storey townhomes. That way, at least will not be overwhelmed by the 5-storey structure since our townhomes will be 3-storey. Please advice us as to what to do with our house and lot ONCE the 5-storey condo building is put up. Do we sell our house and lot? Do we just put up FOUR 3-storey townhomes as I've mentioned earlier? Is it really bad to live beside a building or structure that is higher than your house? Thanks so much for the help.
  2. Master Lee, I've been seeing a lot of townhomes/apartments with powder rooms/toilets underneath the staircase. Is it okay to have a powder room/toilet underneath the staircase?
  3. I'm checking your Photos Tours of Interest Forum. I am checking the photos there but when I click the links, I am lead to upload.com but the photos does not show. I am already a member of upload.com. Why couldn't I see the photos?
  4. Thanks for your help. I have considered the 2 factors you mentioned. First, my mother's bedroom will have blinds so that will take care of the sunset. Plus, she can always use airconditioning. My mother is hardly at home in the afternoons.? Second, the natal chart of the West sector is #6m, #1w and #6b so I guess the stars are good for her??
  5. Hello, We are painting the kitchen which is located in the North. The period6 natal chart of this sector is 9mountain, 4water, 2base. Considering the the annual flying star 5 is also located in the North this 2009, please recommend what color should we paint our kitchen? Would appreciate your advice. Thanks!
  6. Master Lee, What is the remedy for bad flying stars in East sector of the house on natal chart? This is for a period 8 house, facing N3 and sitting S3. The East bedroom has the 5 mountain star, 2 water star and 6 base star. Any remedies to destroy the bad stars? Do you still recommend living in this bedroom? It seems all the bad stars are in this bedroom. Would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
  7. Master Lee, First of all, thank you for answering my other thread regarding staircases placed in sectors with bad stars. I have a new question. Some feng shui practitioners say that staircases in the North and NorthEast is not recommended and unfavorable. What do you think? A staircase in the North is unfavorable because the Yin energy emanates from the North, which is said to be the dwelling-place of spirits and immortals. Consequently, a stairwell, toilet, drain, garbage chute or any whole or passage should not be located here. A staircase in the NorthEast is also known in feng shui as "the Devil's gate" because it is here that the energy deviates from the norm. The chi becomes harmful if a malefic sar moves to this direction. To avoid having problems of this nature, and to protect the sons of the family from being affected by negative placements, or any other problematic feature, in the Northeast.
  8. Hello Master Lee, According to an author: ---------------------------------------- 1."Try to locate your stairs in sectors that correspond to inauspicious Flying Stars, as staircases can press down on bad luck caused by inauspicious stars." ---------------------------------------- Because we do plan to put the staircase in the north sector of our home - because this sector has the #2m #5w and #6b stars. What would you recommend? Alsothe author says: 2. Stairs can be made of wood, metal or concrete to simulate these three solid elements. Wooden stairs are suitable in the South, East and Southeast. Metal stairs are best in the North and concrete stairs work best in the Northeast, Southwest, West and Northwest. 3. Stairs should not have hollows or openings in the steps. These suggest ?leakages?, making it difficult for residents to amass wealth. 4. Avoid a spiral staircase, as this resembles a corkscrew. These are more harmful when located in the middle of the home. 5.The staircase should be well lit and landings should have uplights. I now have learned from reading your articles and forum that: The top and bottom of staircases should never face the main door. Also that the staircase should not start or end in front of the toilet. Moreover the staircase should not be situated in the center of the home. Corkscrew staircases are also not advisable. I hope you could answer my questions above. Thank you.
  9. Hello there, My bedroom is located in one of my good sectors which is the north. So when I sleep, my head points to the north which is my good direction too. However, what if bad flying stars number 2 and 5 fly to the north? - Let us say, number 2 and 5 fly to the north as annual stars....Is it still okay if my head points to the north? Ot should my head point to another direction instead?
