  1. Dear Master Lee

    1) What would be the best way to balance a flying star combination of Mountain star 3 Base star 5 and Water Star 1?

This combination of stars appears in the South West Earth sector of a period 8 house.

I could use fire but this would encourage the 5 star. Would a combination of some fire and moving metal do or just moving metal alone?

    2) A potential home I am thinking of buying in a few roads away from a cemetery, we cannot see the cemetery from the house it is 300 metres away. Should this be something to worry about?

    2 storey house missing corners

I am thinking of buying a 2 storey house which has a missing corner at ground level. 100% of the West corner is missing along with 50% of the North West corner. See the diagram.

On the top level when viewed from above it is square.

How do I remedy this situation? Do I place a lamp post in position A to complete the square?

Will I need to build all the way up to the second level?

  3. Dear Master Lee

Once all is consider such as shapes and forms and the amount of sun light the home receives.

Which part of the home determines the luck whether good or bad from a flying stars point of view, for the occupants of the house?

The facing palace or the palace which has the front door?

For option 1 I would like to replace the whole roof of the house with new tiles. Do I need to by mindful of the Grand Duke as to not disturb him?

The roof covers the whole area of the house and which ever year I change the roof the Grand Duke will always be there.

If I do change the roof in the area of by the Grand Duke what can I do to minimise the impact?

    Please advise.

How does one go about changing the period of the house?

    1) Some geomancers say you should change the whole roof. Now do you need to change the tiles only? The tiles and the wooden beams?

    2) Other geomancers say that as well as changing the roof you need to change the front door and the flooring.

    3) One person said to me that if you paint the ceiling this is equivalent to changing the roof and changes the period of the house.

Option 1 and 2 are expensive. Option 3 is cheap.

Now if I go for option 3 for a two storey house. Will I need to move out of the house whilst the ceiling was painted? Or can I stay in the house but live on the ground floor?

Thank for your reply. I understand now.

I am in a position to buy a new house and I can pick the direction it faces. The land developer has many plot available to sell.

Is NW2 and NW3 a good direction in period 8? As the water star at the front of the house will be 8 and the mountain star at the back will be 8.

The facing I think is good for NW2 and NW3 as it has MS 6 BS 9 and WS8.

NW direction is good for as I am kua number 7.

Obviously we would have to look at the whole house and not one sector. As is the case with SW1 wealth is good but health is bad.

You have a very good website here I have learnt a lot since joining.

    Best Wishes to you all.

I have had a flying stars analysis done through Geomancy.net. I want to ask the following questions.

    1) As someone who has done many flying star analysis. In period 8 which is the most auspicious facing direction for a house? I am kua number 7, so my good directions are ffice:smarttags" />North West, West, South West and North East.

In period 8, the base star #2 is in the NE and #5 is in the SW. But base star #1 is in the West and star #9 is in the NW.

    2) What is meant by a distant mountain near water cure? This is shown in my report.

    3) My ideal career is from the fire group. I notice that housewife is listed there. Why is this I am not familiar with life in ancient China but I imagine housewives worked on farms and sold produce for money and became wealthy. In Europe it is difficult for a housewife to be wealthy unless they do gambling or the lottery.

    Best Wishes.

I have looked at the annual flying stars for 2010 and the Grand Duke is in the North East at 60 degrees.

My question is that part of my front yard is in this direction. I have some grass and some bushes here. Can I cut the grass here with a lawn mower?

Also can I cut the bushes? If I cannot cut the grass or the bushes, this will make my yard look untidy.

    Regards

I live in ffice:smarttags" />Europe and find your website very informative and interesting. I have been visiting and reading this site for the past 6 months. I have applied some of the theories on this site with good results.

My questions is that living in Europe we do not have access to a number of remedies that I read about such laughing Buddhas, Wu Lou, Chinese coins, dragons, 5 element pagodas, victory banners and other items mentioned on this site.

Under the flying star school can we activate and enhance an area using items which represent the elements only? Such as plants or the color green for wood. Metal objects or the color white for metal. Candles or the color read for fire. Crystals or the color yellow for earth and the color blue for the element water. And can these be effectively used to destroy or weaken elements. For example can something which represents fire be used to destroy metal?

Are these as effective as the Chinese symbols, mentioned on your site?

Some people say that the element water can be represented by a mirror or a glass object? I ask this question as I want to put a water element in an area of my house but do not want to use physical water. Will a glass bowl do?

One last question. Each person has a personal Kua number which is used to determine a persons 4 good and 4 bad directions. My number is 7.

Does a house have 4 bad and 4 good sectors also? I ask the question as some FS practitioners talks about such a concept on their websites. I have not come across this on your website. If such a concept does exist can you provide me a link?

Thank for reading my questions. I am a student learning about FS all the time.

    Best Wishes

I have several poison arrows aimed at my front door and house.

I have counted 3 sharp edges of surrounding houses and 5 sharp roof tops.

I understand a cure for this is to place a bagua mirror convex above my front door. However, I have heard this negatively affects my neighbors. I do not want to do this as some of my neighbors have children and I do not wish to harm them.

Will a flat bagua mirror work?

Can I place mirrors in my windows facing the arrows?

    Please advise.

    Thank you

My wealth area is in my garage. The South East corner of the house based on the Western compass. I use the garage to park the car, to store tools and cycles.

What is the best remedy for this? Can I place a green bush on the outside of the corner? Or does the wealth enhancing objectneed to be inside the corner?

Also my daughter sleeps in the bedroom above the garage. Her age is 10. Is this bad feng shui? This bedroom has a South East corner which could be used as a wealth corner.

Thank you for your quick reply.

    1) Does the bagua mirror have to cover all the door frame? As you can see from photograph 1 the door frame touches the ceiling. What I am asking is can the bagua mirror overhang, or does all the mirror needs to be fixed to a flat surface?

    2) Photograph 2 gives a good view of the front of my house. If the answer to para 1 is no can I attach the mirror to the front of the house above the door. Or would attaching it to the front window be a better option? This window is of my living room.

    3) I live in ffice:smarttags" />Europe. You can see from photo 2 that I have some small bushes and the grass. These are about 18 inches high. I Can change these for taller bushes. I can also put bamboo sticks into the ground around the bushes.

    4) My path is straight I was thinking of putting some plants in round pots on it to break up the straight lines.

    Regards

I came across your website when doing some research on feng shui. I live in at the end of a dead end street. I have lived here since January 2007. Since this time I have losted money, made no achievements in my work. I am a salaried person. The family quarrels over little matters.

The house I live in faces an incoming road. The living room window faces the road. My footpath is straight. The front door faces East. I have shrubs planted along the road side. The rest of my front yard is grass from the shrubs to the front wall of the house.

Some people say I have bad chi coming into my house and that I should build a wall. I cannot build a wall as this will not fit the character of the street. Others have said I do not have enough good energy coming into my house. I should plant flowers or have a water pool in the front yard to attract more good energy.

Please advise me on what to do.

    Regards
