  1. Hi Master, We try our best to move in on 19 July,2014 before the 7th Lunar month but there are still a few furnishing like wall paper covering, curtain and timber stair steps to be installed due to shipment delay. I have some fengshui related questions:(1) My staircase is in the south sector . The timber for the steps may not arrive in time and is it Ok to install it after moving in ?Any preventive or remedy procedure if to install the timber steps after moving in?(2) To install curtain in south west bedrooms after moving in, is it OK? Appreciate you advice and thank you in advance
  2. Hi Master Cecil, Thank you for your reply. For the groom side, the wedding is planned on 22 November, 2014 (prefer Saturday). It is an open day and seems to be good date. But in Tung Shu it mention suitable for open business, ground breaking, moving etc. But no mention of whether it is suitable or not suitable for wedding. Do we consider this date or another wedding date like 27 or 28 or 29 November? Best regards,
  3. House Moving date selection Dear Master Cecil, There are some people said that it is just superstition to avoid marriage in the lunar 6th month. It is normally meant to avoid wedding on lunar 6th month. In Tung Shu there seems to have more auspicious dates (like 16 Sept ) than the lunar 8th month. I am a bit confused. What is your opinion? Some dates in Tung Shu are auspicious but a friend said if one further refer to the Dong Gong selection, they are not so good dates. For example, In Tung Shu, 25th August and 6 September are generally good dates for house moving. But my friend said according to Dong Gong selection, these 2 dates are not so auspicious. What's your opinion? With kond regards
  4. Dear Master , My son is planning to get married in Nov - Jan 2015. There will be one Chinese customary and church wedding (the groom side) in Malaysia and then one Thai customary wedding ceremony (the bride side) in Thailand. (1) Is this in the right sequence or it does not matter? If they do the Thai wedding ceremony first, so considered already married and hence cannot marry in church? (2) The bride's Thai ceremony preferred on Sundays and has given 26/10/2014, 14/12/2014 & 21/12/2014 or 18 /1/2015 ? Are they good dates? (3) For the groom's side, we plan for 22 Nov 2014, hope this is auspicious Groom: 10 Mar 1983, 12:05pm - Pig Bride: 8 May, 5:47 am - Pig Groom's Dad: Horse Groom's Mom: Horse Bride's Dad: Deceased Bride's Mom: No info Appreciate your advice.
  5. Dear Master, My house renovation will be completed on 20 June, 2014 (hopefully). Is it true that it is not auspicious to move in the lunar 6th month for Chinese? I am thinking of moving into the house before lunar 6t month which starts on 27th June. So I only have a few days to select. Please advise any auspicious dates, how about 24 June ? Kind regards.
  6. Dear Cecil. Thank you for your reply. Ya you are right, wiithout a layout plan, it is not easy to visualise. Please refer to the sketch of the layout plan - the new flat roof will cover the walk way between the amah quarter and the kitchen to solve 'rain' problem. In this way, the amah quarter and store will be connected to the main house and will it now become part of the house and thus change the fengshui or not? Is this a protusion or missing corner (North west)? Kind regards,
  7. Dear Sir, There is a one storey amah room and a store room at the back of my 2 storey house. I am building a roof connecting it to my house kitchen so that I can have a sheltered utility area. This is a flat concrete roof same as the amah quarter. My main house roof is of different design and materials. Will the amah quarter become part of the main house or it is separate as it does not share the same roof (also different type)? Shall I leave a small gap in between so that they are not connected if it change the fengshui (like natal chart) of my house? Your feedback is very much appreciated. Kind regards, Olivia
  8. Dear Cecil, If I plot a pie chart, both bathroom and bedroom are in the SE sector (flying stars 2 & 5). What's the remedy to put for the bedroom? In this case, shall I make a big window in the bathroom to have a primary influence of qi to capture the bad stars? Appreciate your advice here.
  9. Dear Cecil, Happy New Year of the Dragon and Gong Xi Fa Chai! According to flying star chart, there are stars 2 & 5 in south east sector of my house (front facing 90 deg east). That's why the bathroom 1 (see attachment) is located. The attached bathroom 1 has a door and also the walk in wardrobe area has a sliding door. Is this good enough to capture the bad stars? Is bedroom 1 out of the boundary of this bad sector? The bedroom door is next to the safety panel of the high open ceiling and the stair. Perhaps I will put a partition screen next to stair. Hope to hear your advice to clear my concerns. Thank you.
  10. Dear Cecil, Thank you for your reply. Just to answer some of your questions: This is a side door not located in front or the facing direction. I understand the bathroom is in a bad sector (flying stars 2 & 5). The sewerage pipe of the toilet is not directly above the door. The door is above a basin (for washing hands/face) and the connected water pipe. As this part of house is under construction, If it is not Ok , then I will move the door but this will reduce the size of the next room much smaller. How about a bedroom door is facing the staircase but the distance is 10m away? Also is it no good to have the staircase landed near (1.5 meter) the dining area ? With warm regards....
  11. Dear Cecil, Is it Ok if a side door is below a wash basin in a bathroom but not directly under a toilet bowl and shower area? Warm regards, Olive
  12. Dear Cecil, Thank you for your replies. I just want to clarify the below. My original idea is to enjoy a full view of fish pond from the living room and also the patio (see attachment) and also satisfy my husband's hobby. (1) To put the pond in NE now, is it inauspicious to have #9 future prosperity star because of the fire element and what are its negative effects on residents? Can the other #7 star be neutralised by the water feature? (2)) so the small extention into the east sector is a "no" as you mentioned it has a bad star #3. (Can #3 'fall' into the water and get neutralised?) " (3) However, in your reply, item12. "Otherwise still possible for a water position given the stars with that sector; provided a water feature that consists of all five events in it." Do you mean it is not inauspicious to have a water feature in NE or E? With warm regards..... On 11/19/2011 8:11:29 AM, Cecil Lee wrote:
  13. (!--StartFragment--> Dear Cecil, My house is period 8, facing east 2 and the front door is located at east sector. I am planning to build a fish pond outside, right in front of the house on the left side of front door in the northeast sector. Is it good to have a pond in northeast sector with flying star #7, #9? Does it clash with direct/indirect wealth spirit? Also a small part of the pond is in the east sector (flying star #3, #4). Appreciate your advice.... with warm regards (!--EndFragment-->
  14. I have a house east 2 facing (also the main door). I am extending the front part (east2 direction) of the house. I intend to move into this house when the renovation is completed next year (year of dragon). I heard that it is not advisable to renovate the East side of the house this year. However this is a vacant house now as the previous tenant had moved out 4 months ago and my family is not stayimg there. Please advise.
  15. I am going to renovate my current house (2 storey) which is East 2 facing like making extension to front and it will become a square shape. The staircase is currently at the back middle part. My kitchen is in SW sector on ground floor. Currently my master bedroom occupies the whole sector from NE to NW. I intend to make 4 bedrooms each with attached bathroom on first floor. But I am concern about the combination of 7-9 starts in NE and NW sectors, 5-2 star currently my master bedroom. Also the combination of 2-5 stars in NE sector. (1) Please advise on the location of the 4 bedrooms and the attached bathrooms. (2) How to suppress 7-9 (9-7) stars in bedrooms in period 8? (3) My husband is kua 1 and i am kua 8. Is the main door facing east 2 and in the east sector 3-4-6 good ?
