Hi Master Lee,
Is it really manadatory to go for the 'Applied Feng Shui (Theories, Concept & Practical Application)' before one can apply for the Flying Star Course???
Can one just apply for the Flying Star Course instead
Pls advise. Thanks!

Hi Sir,
I got question to ask about flying star. When I superimposed the natal chart onto the floor plan. I realized that most rooms actually consist of two or more palaces sharing together. Therefore, my question is will that room occupy by two or more palaces possess 2 or more good and bad properties? Take for example the living room which occupied by both #3 and #7 palaces, will that room has two or more properties? Will 2 or more type Qi actually stay in the same room? Or will this case be something similar to the "2/3 rule of missing palaces" as in the the Qi that occupied the bigger pie own the room?
Pls advise. Thanks

Dear Cecil Lee,
Sorry about the last message that I have posted. I did not know that the photo which I have cropped from the street directory map might cause unnecessary potential legal problem. I have learned my lesson from that incident. Therefore, please accept my sincere apology to geomancy.net and the rest of the viewers and fans that support this forum.
I will be more careful in future when dealing with pictures from authority website. Sorry once again.
Yours Sincerely,
Lex Tan

Hi Cecil L.,Thanks and I really
appreciate for your prompt response and
the firm answer you have provided me.
You have clear my thought out and
everything on how to determine the
facing reference seemed clearer for me
now. I was confused by the numerous feng
shui books that talks about flying star
formula which i have read and it is
really not easy for a commoner like me
to understand. However, you have
enlightened me and I should have joined
Geomancy.net and be a member earlier.
Haha....So, I won't be pondering
over and over it for months....
heh1. You mentioned that my
apartment is facing S2. No offence, just
curious about how do you actually
determine that it is facing S2 but not
S1 by just looking at the floor plan
layout below?2. Could further elaborate
on that? I'm not a good compass user and
in order for me to measure my floor plan
and to determine the location.2a. Should
I mark a 'X' cross on the floor plan
stand at the intersection point of the
two lines and start measuring the facing
direction of my apartment. Is this the
correct way of doing(as shown in
the picture below)?2b.OR should I take
down the full length of my window and
divide them by 2, stand at that point
and measure the facing direction (as
shown in the picture below)?3. Just
curious, the two purple markings of A -
B which you have indicated at the living
room and master bedroom of the floor
plan so does it mean that If I bring out
my compass to measure will both the
readings still be in "S2"?4. You
mentioned that "In a landed property;
often even if we say have a home that is
facing South (S2) and even if we do tilt
the main door to face South-west; this
is considered temporary as it will
ultimately revert back to South
(S2).What do you mean by
'temporary'? Could you advise. (Just to
learn something more!)Thanks!On 6/3/2011

These are some of the
considerations:
1. Based on the concept of the
"most yang" qi; in my opinion;
the facing direction should be
standing at A looking out
towards B. Here, even if we
stand inside the living room
or master bedroom looking out
towards the window; the most
probable facing direction is
SOUTH.
2. In theory "light travels"
in a straight line. Here, in
the very broad sense; even if
there is a large opening at
"South-West" It does not mean
that one should tilt the
facing direction towards
South-West. One of the reasons
is that the facade where the
most windows are (or = most
yang qi) is still based on
purple marking A looking out
towards B.
3. From the two conflicting
schools of thought; thus your
facing direction can only be
either/or:-
3.1. Standing at purple
marking A looking out towards
B = South facing or S2 facing
direction.
3.2. From those very
conservative or not too family
with high rise Geomancer; they
will always "quote" ancient
Feng Shui books or concepts
that say: one must stand
inside the main door (Marking
C) looking outwards D.
4. In my opinion; thus it is
high chance that your
apartment's facing direction
is Flying Star South = S2
facing direction. This also
follows the facade of the
building.
5. In a landed property; often even

we say have a home that is facing
South

door to face South-west; this is
considered temporary as it will

Hi Master Lee,
Could you advice further if I add the pie chart now with regards to the 2 palaces occupying the living room? I would deeply appreciate if you could enlighten me more. Thanks a million!
